Come stay in this brand new 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom home and encounter everything Taos New Mexico has to offer! You will walk in and be amazed at the 16 foot high ceilings in the living areas with traditional locally sourced vigas (ceiling wooden beams) throughout the home with excellent views of the Taos mountains from large windows and glass doors. It is tastefully decorated with furniture and artwork collected from a life of living and working overseas in many countries. Enjoy your morning coffee or sunset happy hour on the covered patio gazing across pueblo land to the surrounding beauty. The master shower is a piece of art with multiple faucets giving a spa effect.

This home is ideal to encounter the great outdoors and offers convenient access to Taos, the Ski Valley and all of nature's nearby offerings: world class skiing, rafting, fishing, hiking and biking and amazing nearby hot springs. Take in the mountain views out of the expansive windows with plenty of natural lighting to take in the New Mexico sun, your vacation is certain to be a one-of-a-kind experience here.

THE property has 360-Degree Mountain Views from the 2-Acre lot. Covered patio with table, chairs and BBQ.
The construction of the home was just completed in spring 2023 and it has not yet been landscaped (see photos of the outside of the home), but with such fabulous mountain views your eye will look right past the natural sage brush surrounding the property to the mountains in your view.

We stayed 5 nights. The property is in good shape. I should have looked closer to see that there was no a/c. It was a warm week but we enjoyed ourselves. Central location for visiting Taos, Red River and Santa Fe. Lots of bugs

Awesome property, location, and host!

Highly recommend!! Gail (the property owner) is awesome and had the house fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. Great location with quick access to Taos proper and the ski valley with great views of the mountain range. Gail provided great instructions and checked in with us mid-stay to wish us a happy trip and make sure the house had everything we needed. Definitely book this house for your trip to Taos!!

Family girls weekend

This is second time staying for my mom, my sister and me. House is located in a quite neighborhood with lots of land and open space around it. Back patio has exceptional view of Taos Mountain. Walking path in open space behind house. Quiet serene location with easy / quick access to Taos, Rio Grand Gorge, Taos Mountain and much more.

Spring break family skiing trip

Even though it was a sparse year for snow at the nearby areas, we had a great stay. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. It had everything our family of 6 and dog needed-space for the teens to get away, space for the toddlers to play/watch tv, space for the dog to get outside, and space for the grownups to too. The sunsets are amazing, the location is close to town but far enough to make you feel like you’re far from it. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding (master is quite firm, but we like ours that way) and the showers were very nice. 20 or so minutes to Ski Taos, 1hr to Angel Fire. Lots of road construction through Taos proper, but still only a 10-15 min drive to grocery and town.

Best ever VRBO rental we have ever had (anywhere)!

This home is a wonderful place to base out of for a Taos area visit, much quieter than in town, cannot hear any outside noise at all while in the house. Located just a couple of minutes from the highway 64, 522, 150 intersection lights. The home is spacious and SO comfortable and livable. Beds/linens were very comfortable, living area was very comfortable. Wonderful views out the front and back of the house. Outdoor patio on the back was a favorite place to eat meals, read books and cook out. Great kitchen/dining area. Amazing master bedroom. All the 3 bedrooms have walk-in closets. The large garage was a plus. We have stayed in many rentals in the Taos area and this is by far our favorite place and we will definitely try to rent again if available. Gail is the best possible host!

A very nice, clean and comfortable home. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked. It’s in a quiet, convenient location. (The road leading to the house is dirt but well maintained. Dirt roads are very common in this area.) Close to everything in Taos but away from the crowds. We would definitely stay here again.

Really nice property, straightforward and simple communication with Gail who was available and so easy to work with. Exactly as advertised. Clean house, quiet location, 360 degree views with sunrise in the back and sunset in the front. Bathrooms and kitchen particularly well appointed. Ten minute drive to downtown Taos.

The Mountain View

I love Taos, the house was a beautiful and convenient location to the venue we attended for the She Rises Festival . The view and all the stars at night was awesome.Plenty of towels which is always a problem when staying at Rentals. Highly recommended!

Gail’s house was such a gem, the view from the back porch is unmatched. Highlights include a huge garage, plenty of space between you and the neighbors, modern kitchen appliances and very fast internet (we worked from the home with no issues). The location is close enough to down town Taos without being in town, and centrally located to all area points of interest. We would re-book this property without hesitation. Thanks Gail!

Lovely stay for ski trip w/ family

Spent 4 nights at Gail’s lovely Adobe for ski trip. Lots of room for our group (my wife and I), daughter and husband and their two English labs.Location is perfect for accessing Taos Ski valley (about 25 min drive). We purchased food at local Cid’s (organic type grocery) and found good backroute to Smith in town (bigger more traditional grocery store). Kitchen was well setup for cooking and eating meals at home. Views of the mountains through living room window were majestic in the morning and evening. Gail’s communication was outstanding - always quick. We look forward to coming back next year!

I love to ski and Taos Ski Valley is World Class skiing with a very friendly atmosphere. Mountain biking, golfing and hiking are some of my other interests.
