As for the road noise, we understand it can be noticeable in some units due to the location, though it varies throughout the day. Regarding the air conditioning, we appreciate you pointing that out. It appears VRBO may be inaccurately displaying A/C as an amenity, though the listing itself does note that air conditioning is not available due to the mild, high alpine climate. Evening temperatures often dip into the high 40s and low 50s, so we recommend keeping windows open during the day to let in the fresh mountain air and maintain a comfortable indoor temperature. As for laundry, you're absolutely right, there is no washer/dryer inside the unit, but there is a coin-operated laundry facility available on-site for guest use. We'd like to start by first apologizing for the mishaps you had with your check-in instructions as well as your check-in. We understand these after-hours emergencies can easily become a hassle. After reviewing the timeline of the calls, we felt we responded in a very timely manner to your request with urgency as the real-time immediacy of the call logs show. Because these unfortunate events happen, and we feel that the after-hours emergency was handled in a timely fashion we weren't willing to refund your requested amount, feeling that it was excessive.
