The property was exactly how the host explained it. Had a wonderful time very relaxing and opportunity to feed the pigs, do a tour of the farm and play corn hole. We will definitely would like to book in the future thank you so much Mrs Leigh and Mr Jimmy for your hospitality!

The most relaxing cottage!

My husband and I stayed here for a short weekend getaway and had the most relaxing time. The scenery is beautiful, the cottage was quaint and homey, and the hosts were very hospitable and met our every need. Awesome Vrbo, would recommend to anyone!

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE!!

We had the best time!! Honestly, the hosts were so accommodating and the cottage was perfect! We will definitely stay again and for longer so we can enjoy more of the accommodations that are beyond charming!

Peaceful Getaway

The house is just what we were looking for on a long drive, peaceful, clean, beautiful and safe. The hosts have done a wonderful job with this beautiful property that they share. I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Delightful Cottage

The hosts are as wonderful as their property! The cottage is beautifully designed and maintained. The property is secluded and peaceful. Bring your groceries and be prepared to stay, it's too perfect to leave!

This Gate Cottage was what I expected and more. Owners thought of everything you would not think of. We even had fresh eggs in the kitchen when we arrived. Very peaceful and relaxing. Loved seeing fireflies and the Milky Way.

Great long weekend trip. We loved the cottage and the farm. Spent lots of time in the creek. My kids loved the pigs! Our favorite was sitting outside at night watching all the fireflies. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a couple days.

We had an absolute blast during our stay. Great hospitality. If u want a taste of farm life, seclusion, country living, and hospitality this is the place to go. Be sure to bring all u need when u arrive, going to town is a bit of time. Good times. Thanks.

Best VRBO I’ve ever stayed at

My wife and I stayed at the Gate Cottage for two nights on our drive up North. We have stayed at several VRBOs, and none have been as well built, styled or welcoming as the Gate Cottage. Leigh and Jimmy (and Jack!) were INCREDIBLE hosts. The property is everything and then some. We wish we could’ve stayed longer but one thing is for sure, we’ll be back!

Gate cottage

Loved our stay. We needed a getaway from everyday stresses. Gate cottage definitely is the place to destress. Enjoyed sitting outside in hot tub with a fire and looking at the stars. The view of the farm was amazing. The kitchen was great and complete with everything you need plus. Jimmy and Leigh were great host. Everything was perfect.

Perfect Country Farm

We had such an amazing experience staying on this property. The pictures on the website were great, but it was even more beautiful in person. Jimmie and Leigh are amazing, and provided everything that we could have possibly wanted or needed to make our trip perfect. The cabin was gorgeous and so comfortable. The views were breathtaking of the mountains and on the river. My children and pups had the best time and we definitely want to come back to this little slice of heaven!!!

So dreamy!

We had the most perfect getaway here! The property is breathtaking and the guesthouse is so cozy- it looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. Leigh was so welcoming and all of the amenities are amazing. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise up on the hill. We didn’t want to leave! :)
