Great Spot on the River

This is a cozy cabin in a nice quiet area. The host was friendly and responsive. It was a great stay!

Enjoyable stay

Host was very helpful and answered questions quickly. Location was great for us to explore the different visitor centers of New River Gorge National Park. We enjoyed the peaceful setting from the deck looking out onto the river.

beautiful cabin and location

Overall, it was a great stay. The only downside was that we did not have internet or cell service (we have verizon). The owner did let us know that there was a problem with the wifi on our first night and after talking to some of the locals we gathered this is a common problem. Unplugging was part of the plan for our trip but we couldn't even google information on the local attractions or even pull up a map without driving away from the cabin where cell service was better (kind of embarrassing how reliant on the internet we are!). I would still recommend this rental but if you are planning a stay I would recommend you do research ahead of time on any places you want to go and bring a map just in case.

Cabin overlooking the River

We stayed for two nights at Granny’s Cabin. Everything was there to make our stay comfortable. We visited different parts of New River Gorge NP for two days. We also visited Tamarack which is an artisan venue all with hand made items from West Virginians. Very unique items. Good place to explore the National Park and the River.
