About this property

Fun Family Home in the Mountains; easy walk to town

This spacious townhouse is perfect for a family to enjoy the Rocky Mountains in all seasons. For skiers, great resorts of Copper Mountain, Breckenridge and Keystone are a short 10 to 15 minute drive. Vail and Beaver Creek are only a 30 minute drive. Right outside the door, guests can enjoy biking on bike paths or mountain trails, or hiking and snowshoeing in the Arapaho National Forest. The charming town of Frisco and Lake Dillon marina are an easy 10 minute walk.

Located on a quiet residential street, the end-unit townhouse has a spectacular mountain view, a bright, airy interior, and a yard. Shopping in the quaint town of Breckenridge or the Silverthorne outlet shops provides retail diversions. The free Summit County bus stops nearby. The house has a well-furnished kitchen suitable for cooking big family dinners. But plenty of great restaurants and take-out shops can give you a break from cooking.

Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom with tub and shower. All three bedrooms are furnished with queen beds; a third bedroom also has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom. The living room feels spacious and open with its cathedral ceiling, large windows facing the mountains, yet cozy around the gas fireplace. It opens onto a large deck. The breakfast bar and dining room also open onto a barbecue deck with a 6-person hot tub. There is a one-car garage and free WIFI.

The summer sun promises you as much fun as the winter snows. You'll find our townhouse is conveniently located for any and all of your activities.

This townhouse has been our family vacation home for 30 years and has provided great memories for 3 generations. We're happy to share the fun of a get-away home in the mountains. Enjoy it as your own.

Why they chose this property

Frisco, Colorado has been a great meeting place for members of our family scattered from Texas to Chicago and San Diego. It's easy to fly in and drive up. Three generations from 85 years to 15 years old relax, play, learn new sports, and challenge each other. The free bus system allows some independence.

What makes this property unique

There is a yard and nearby school playground for the children. Hiking into the mountains and biking trails to towns and resorts are 3 blocks away. Easy strolls to the shops in Frisco or to Rainbow Lake can be an adventure for the young and old. A morning stroll to get coffee and a newspaper is a great way to begin the day. Frisco is also a dog-friendly town, from shops that give out dog treats to pet-accessible trails to the K-9 4-K run in August.
