About this property

Family Fun House near Siesta Key

Create memories with friends and family at this unique, and spacious property only 12 minutes from Siesta Key Beach (4.8 miles) It is perfect for large groups or reunions as this house includes 3 separate living spaces and has a total of 13 beds. Right behind the main house, not only will you find a fun area to relax, play games and swim, but you will also see 2 additional units- a mother-in-law suite and guest house. This property allows you to enjoy time together, but to have your own space.

The space:

Lots to enjoy here in paradise. Swim, play volleyball or badminton, as well as other yard games. Chill by the fire pit, lay out in the sun, enjoy a game of darts or ping pong. Use the large dining area to eat, play cards and enjoy time together.

This home is only a 10-12 minute drive from the beach and we have provided some chairs, beach toys and towels to bring along. There are also a couple of pool floaties and we have provided items for children as well (pack n play, high chair, toys) If young children will be present and you’d like us to include a pool motion sensor alarm, please let us know ahead of time.

There are 7 TV’s total and 2 laundry areas.

The main house has an open layout with a large dining area, living room and kitchen. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms (can sleep 10)

This home was great for our family - the mother-in-law apartment and studio allowed us to spread out and have some privacy, while the large living room gave us space to hang out together. The location is also excellent, allowing access to Selby Gardens, the beach, and downtown Sarasota. We found the home to be clean and the kitchen had plenty of dishes, utensils, etc.

Mike is a great host and easy to communicate with ! If we needed anything he took care of it promptly! The house was well kept and clean and we were very happy with it! Was really nice to have the two separate apartments as well for the young married couples and a baby. Hope to return for another vacation!

Excellent communication before and during our stay. The house was fantastic for our family gathering, we had 9 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of space for everyone. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals each night, the second kitchen was a huge plus for Thanksgiving cooking. Great location, only 10 minutes from the beach! Grocery stores are super close. Thanks for such a great stay!

Good property and amazing hosts! more amenities than expected; owner was accommodating in every way possible; pool, guesthouses, and layout was perfect for our large family; kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and more; as a final perk, the host had toys and games for the yard and the beach; they also had umbrellas, chairs, beach towels and a couple coolers for the beach - it was perfect for us; lastly, the hosts sent a couple timely local events during our stay that we could participate in.

Five golf buddies

longtime friends went for a week of golf to Sarasota. We were fortunate to find this property as it gave everybody their own bedroom own bathroom plenty of space to relax. Also, after our long days of golf, the pool was refreshing cleaned twice a week.

Can’t say enough positive!

I cannot give this a high enough rating! We had 15 people with 5 kids and we had a wonderful week. The house was well stocked with most things you could possibly want during a week at the pool/beach. We were able to spread out and have our own areas while also spending lots of time together. The pool area and yard were spacious and well designed for large groups. Mike was very attentive to our needs and checked in on us to make sure everything was going ok. We hope to come back and would highly recommend this place.

Fun and family friendly house!

We stayed here over a soccer tournament weekend with three other families and had the most wonderful, memorable weekend together. Mike, our host, was amazing to work with - very communicative, easy to reach, checked in to make sure we had everything we need. The house was clean, updated, and perfect for us - plenty of space in the main house to enjoy time together and meals, but then also the use of a guest house and mother in law suite so we could spread out. Mike heated the pool for us which the kids enjoyed, and the location was convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. Would highly recommend this for any group looking to enjoy a fun stay close to the Sarasota beaches and downtown.

The BEST

Mike is an amazing, responsive host and his home is really awesome! The weather was unusually cold (35-40 degrees) and he contacted us the day before our arrival to apologize that the pool couldn't be heated. The listing information is spot on and in spite of the unfortunate weather, our group had a great time. The German restaurant Mike recommended was fabulous. Although the majority of our days were spent training at Nathan Benderson Park, we look forward to returning to this wonderful home the next time we are in Sarasota. Our website is Dragonboatlanta.us

Amazing Stay!

Our family visit to Sarasota was for my son's wedding on Longboat Key. The house was a perfect fit for our family ages 5 months to 81. Mike was a great host and great about communication. The back yard was spacious and tranquil. Had everything we needed and then some. Even extras we didn't think about. Beach chairs & coolers in the garage. No need to carry the extras with us. The main house and 2 additional ADU's were very nice and well equipped. It was great that my husband I could have our own space, and our Pastor friends could have their own space. While the rest of the family were in the main house. The location made it easy to get to all the places we needed. Restaurants, grocery stores, shopping etc. We had a fabulous time and loved the house! Thank you Mike and Family! The Knott Family :)
