About the host
Hosted by Lisa Mchugh
Friday Harbor has been our "stateside" home residence for the 20yrs we lived in Asia. We now toggle between the Bay Area, and our home in Friday Harbor. LIsa is a designer and artist, and Dan in International Transportation.
Why they chose this property
Having traveled and lived in exquisite places, the Bluff House has always been our "heart-home". It has been 22 summers of kids, beach projects, dogs, family, big dinners, raucous badminton games, late night conversations over the fire pit, water-lapping naps in the hammock, and drifting in kayaks among the seals. The days are marked by the sound of the tides changing, eagles hunting, and the fox's afternoon romping with their pups, and frequent passings of whales. This house melts away the "busy" world, and brings one to quiet balance and observation of nature, in this visually inviting and comfortable seaside home.
