The host Amy and her bestie were on point with everything. The house was beautiful. I loved the kitchen and it really felt like home away from home. The hot tub was really nice. Its in the perfect location. I will be back that is for sure.

Thank you so much for your great review. We sure appreciated you! Come back any time!
Beautiful house. Had everything we needed and was in perfect location for what we were here for. Amy was great with communication for all my questions from time of reservation (9 months ago) until day of check in.
This home is gorgeous but also cozy and so comfortable. We felt right at home. The house is stocked with all kinds of things you might need. We would come back in a heartbeat!
We had the best stay here during Memorial Day weekend. We spent lots of time riding at Windrock! This place feels just like home. So clean and has everything you can think of. The kids favorite part was the hot tub! Thanks for a great stay!

Thank you for the great review. We were pleased to host you!
This house was the best Vrbo property we have stayed in with regards to how well appointed it is and amenities. Wonderful back yard for pups and front porch for morning coffee and pups watching nature. We will be back for sure!
Beautiful little house. I pull a 16' trailer, no problem turning around. Its about 20 minutes from windrock. I highly recommend this place. Just minutes from Brushy Mountain Prision.
The house was perfect. We really enjoyed the hot tub and large back deck. Plenty of room to maneuver our trailer. The ramp to the deck was great for my wife, who is in a wheelchair. My only complaint would be that the closet in the master bedroom was locked as “private” and there was no dresser or any place to hang up clothes. We had to live out of suitcases.
Very well taken care of property. The house is very welcoming and relaxing. We were in town for Windrock and everything close was booked, so we decided to try this spot. We will be back.
This house looked even better in person. So much attention to detail and super cozy. We had everything we needed and the owner was very responsive and helpful. We had a great visit at Windrcok and hope to be able to stay here again when we come back!

Wedding Weekend
The property itself is nice and the house is setup nicely. The neighbors dogs next door are very obnoxious and bark all the time. The decking used for the stairs was very slippery and my wife fell trying to take our dog out and she ended up severely spraining one ankle and breaking the other. Which made the stay and weekend unenjoyable.

We hate to hear that you didn't find the experience top notch! We will add grip-tape to the steps upon your recommendation. The neighbors' dogs can be a pain, and I regret that they detracted so much from your enjoyment. For context for others considering this booking, this is a rural area with many dogs nearby. The houses are relatively far apart– the dogs in question live in the nearest house, about 50 yards from ours. They are indoor/outdoor dogs in a fenced yard with a doggie door and are not always outside. They are more likely to notice you and set up a fuss if you are on the front porch than on the back, and if your dogs get near to their fence. They are also more likely to bark a lot on weekdays when their people are away from home and they can go in and out of their doggie door without anyone they know there to tell them to hush.
Got there loving the place. Decorated very nicely had lots of extras. Great place to stay to come back after long hikes and enjoy the hot tub. Everything was going great the last night we were there we were out on the deck my husband noticed. A blink camera. Then we noticed another one on the railing by the hot tub. That did not set well with either one of us.. could totally understand the one over the back door . But the one we saw over by the railing of the hot tub that was too much.. looked everywhere on the paperwork did not see them telling us they have a camera on the back deck.! Another thing front deck was very dirty. We understand it was pollen time, but we do know that someone checked out that day so we were surprised that no one had cleaned the front deck..

Yes, we have three outdoor cameras. It is a house that is often sitting vacant. The cameras are angled to monitor the doors, garage, and driveways. The one in the corner that you were concerned about is angled such that we can see the ramp and steps onto the back porch, the grill, and can tell if the edge of the hot tub cover flies up when no one is there so that we can ask someone to come by and close it. It does not have a full view of the hot tub, and the hot tub cover blocks the view of the tub as well. Further, we disarm the cameras when people are staying there so our phones don’t blow up with notifications from movement. Guests are welcome to cover any camera while staying with us. That other website has a place specifically to tell visitors about camera locations, and my page there does that, but to my knowledge VRBO does not have a spot to disclose it to guests. I will look for the right place to put it for future guests’ knowledge but I think I have disclosed it to VRBO already the information is just not shown to visitors. I recommend you suggest to VRBO that they add that disclosure to their guest information.
We picked this house mainly because Amy allowed us to bring our pups and the property offered a beautiful backyard for all of us to enjoy the TN outdoors. So when we first arrived we immediately knew this property was going to be perfect for us. The house is exquisitely decorated, from the inviting front porch swing, to the back porch spa like hot tub and expansive deck, to the FULLY equipped kitchen (loved the griddle!!!), to the luxury hotel quality showers and comfy, cozy bedding, we absolutely enjoyed every minute we spent here. I can go on and on about the details this home offers and how the owners go above and beyond to make you feel like you are visiting your Aunt and Uncles home (the welcome binder was a great touch!)... it was great starting each day at the kitchen island planning out our daily travels with a cup of coffee in hand..it was like being at home!... Thank you for opening your home to us...fyi: the location is perfect if you want to visit Windrock or Aspire Park...We will be back!
My husband and I came for a quick weekend getaway for our 16th anniversary! We live about an hour away and wanted something close to our kids but still close to activities and restaurants. We brought our side by side to ride at Windrock and were very happy with how close it was. We could have drove from the house but decided to trailer our machine over and unload there. When we were done it was a quick trip back to the house to shower and then just a short drive to Oak Ridge for dinner. We love how quiet the house was, I know there has been a complaint in the reviews about the neighbors dog but do not worry. We were not bothered at all by the dog, just a normal dog and didn’t even hear or see the dog but once or twice. The house is amazingly stocked with many little extras that maybe have been left behind from previous guest or the owners but either way it is super nice because there is always something you forget. There are many many great notes in the traveler’s book that you can sign and I wish they had all left a review on VRBO but I’m here to tell you not to feel worried when booking because this home has been enjoyed by many! Overall we loved having a chance to stay here and loved all the home had to offer. If you are a big cook in the kitchen you will love the kitchen and its many utensils and appliances. It’s fully stocked! And there are many books, games, movies, great internet connection, pillows, toiletries, and cleaning supplies! Book now!
We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and up to date. Beds were good. Yard size very nice for our furbaby. 20min road riding to get to the trail head of windrock. Def would stay again.
We enjoyed the hot tub, and the big bed! The are was beautiful, and it was nice to be away from the hustle of the city for a few days. Unfortunately the grill was messed up, but it was made up by all the other amenities.
