Desert fun

We had a lovely time at this minimalist home. It was a great layout for our family and had most things we needed and wanted. It was easy to get to town and to the park, and it was nice to have Joshua trees and other desert foliage and animals around even when not in the park. We enjoyed watching the rabbits from the window. The hot tub was nice too!

Great location and fun property

We had a great time. The home is close to the National park, it was a good size, the hot tub was nice, fire pit was nice, and property was nice. The host was communicative and helpful, but the listing was not 100% accurate in my opinion. For example, we were excited to use the cowboy pool but the listing didn’t say that it was only full and usable during the summer. The listing should be updated with this detail so guests know what to expect when booking. This one one of the main reasons we booked the property. We asked the host if we could use it because the weather was warm over spring break and the host was kind and sent a pool company to clean and fill the pool. Unfortunately the pool company came but was not able to clean it properly so we couldn’t use it - this is not the hosts fault. The property is good but could be even better if some details were added. It is 95% there and details would make it 100%. For example, the fire pit had roasting sticks but not matches/lighter (or wood). The broom did not come with a dustpan, and the floor needs to be swept oftencc to stay clean. No vacuum available. The master bathroom drain did not drain properly (we notified the host and should be fixed for future). Overall no major issues, the host was kind and quick to communicate and we would stay again!
