This cozy cottage is the perfect retreat for travelers! Amenities of the cottage include a full kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine and wine bar, a full bath with walk-in shower, king beds, smart TV, and a private patio with ample outdoor seating, plus an arbor swing! Located in the heart of Fredericksburg, the peace and quiet afforded to guests at this property are unmatched. Spend the day on the town, then return to the chalet in the evening and enjoy the full kitchen and wine bar, perfect for a glass (or two!) in the spacious backyard. Quiet, charming, and convenient, all the necessities for a romantic getaway.

PLEASE NOTE: The owner lives onsite. There are no shared spaces.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

My husband and I loved staying at the Artist Chalet right before Christmas 2025. Nora, the owner, greeted us when we arrived, and was so warm and welcoming. The chalet was cozy, comfortable and very clean. It was decorated for the Christmas season and was absolutely beautiful. Beautiful artwork done by the owner is also displayed throughout. The neighborhood is very quiet which was nice. Would absolutely recommend!!!

Truly a charming place to stay. Convenient location and a quick trip to downtown. It was the extra touches though… plenty of coffee. She left juice and milk in the fridge with plenty of snacks.
