The Neighborhood: Five Points is an up and coming neighborhood 8 minutes north of downtown San Antonio. You will see some homes that are very nice and have been completely restored and you will also see some homes that need work. I stay here frequently with family and friends and feel that the neighborhood is quite safe. The neighbors have all been very friendly and keep an eye on the property. That being said we have taken extra precautions for the assured safety of our family, friends, and guests by fencing in the entire property and adding plenty of bright lights, off street parking for up to 3 vehicles, dummy security cameras (they look real but are not really working).

Thank you so much for choosing us, we hope to have you soon.
Overall, the property was good, but the pictures did not accurately reflect how it looked in person. One important thing to note is that not every bedroom has its own private door. Two of the rooms is set up with two sleeping areas and a bed in each, but there is no divider or separation between them, so they are not fully private.
I loved the home, but the cleaning crew did not do a goo job! The host communicated great and I hate to give a bad review! We drove a long way and was very tired when arriving. One bedroom was not acceptable, as well as the furniture in the livingroom was nasty!! I tried to get settled without a bad review, but the owner didn't wanna make it right, only refunding 50! There was blood on the kitchen counter, wall and on one of the pillows on the couch! Stains all over the living room furniture and trash all under the pillows. The owner sent a worker to correct the situation, but he didnt do a good job. The place could have been so much better, with a proper cleaning. There were pit bulls tearing up trash in front of the house.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Location
Location was good, neighborhood was not great. Close to railroad tracks, you can hear it at all hours of the day. It's a beautiful house, but it needs to be remodeled, and the furniture has some wear and tear. We had some issues but had a quick response. The internet was not working.
We had a good stay overall, but there were a few minor maintenance issues that need attention. The downstairs A/C wasn't working properly; I want to commend the host for being incredibly responsive—they immediately sent a maintenance technician out to look into the A/C issue. Unfortunately, by the time the problem was diagnosed, it was late in the day and we were checking out the following morning, so it couldn't be resolved during our stay. Maybe next time have a small portable AC unit. Oh yeah, and there was a strong, unpleasant egg-like odor coming from the drain in the downstairs shower, which we didn't fully realize until right before we left. We thought it was just someone who had pooped. But when you shower, the smell gets noticeably stronger. Both of these issues are completely fixable (the shower drain just needs a good clearing out), and given how attentive the host was, I am confident they will have it sorted out quickly for the next guests. Given the opportunity, we would stay again if issues are resolved. Thank you for having us!

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
A family of raccoons live under the house, the games all had missing items so you couldn’t enjoy the games.
The host was welcoming. Response time was great. The house was just as advertised. I traveled with a group of 11 including 1ur old twins.. The home is welcoming, makes you feel like you're at home. We had plenty of space. Fenced in yard and volleyball next was a plus for the other kids. This is an older house that has been updated, can use a few more, But overall we had a great experience, the area was quiet. We would definitely use it again

Our stay was perfect for our mini family vacation. The house was very clean, stocked with supplies like trash bags, toilet paper, shampoos and games for the kids. I was a little concerned about the neighborhood when we first got there but over all it was a very quite neighborhood with no problems.
We are a family of 14 and this place was more than enough room for all of us. It was very close to everything we were going to so that was nice. The backyard was great for the little ones. Everytime I needed to ask Daniel a question, he responded in no time. If you ever go to San Antonio with a large family or friends, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING.
We enjoyed our stay so much! The house accommodated everyone perfectly. There was more than enough toiletries, paper towels, trashbags. There was plenty to do there with the volleyball net, shuffleboard, dartboard and board games. It was conveniently located near everything. We had a blast and will definitely come back again!
