This property accommodated our group of 4 with plenty of space! The renter replied to all communication in a timely fashion. The house was clean and fit all our needs. Will stay again!
It was just right for our group of 10. Very clean and great location. The foldout couch in the guesthouse out back was the only negative - sank to the middle.
House was great, cute, charming, and plenty of space for all of us. It was missing a few items that would’ve been useful, but all in all good. The location was convenient but at the same time it was a super busy street. There was constant traffic ( through the night as well) This is a main road that leads to the freeway. I am a light sleeper, so this was a challenge.
This home had everything we needed but the pictures definitely do not quite match the property. There was plenty of room for us inside the main house and the back house. The online pictures make the house look pristine, however it is much older looking in person. Also, this neighborhood is very loud - constant sirens, loud cars, and train whistles. This makes it very difficult to get a good nights sleep while on vacation.
Great home, worked well for the 10 of us.host was most accommodating. Price point was good. Third bedroom in the home needs a clothes rack or hooks on the wall as no place to hang your clothes, coats, etc. also could use more towels in kitchen.
Just an overall great experience in this place. Comfy, plenty of rooms for larger gatherings. If you are traveling with 5-6 people (or double that for couples) this is a great spot.
House was absolutely beautiful. Looks bigger than it does on the outside. Kitchen/living room layout is perfect for cooking and interacting with fellow travelers. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay for our teip. House was also so so clean. 5 stars!!
We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, location was convenient to river walk, grocery store and Alamodome.
The listing is accurate. I would recommend this place to others
The house is a great location walking distance to King William area. All the rooms are spacious, and the back house is the cutest equipped with its own kitchen, and a separate bathroom. All the beds and linens were comfortable. Thank you for your hospitality.
We traveled to San Antonio for a multigenerational family spring break. On arrival the key pad didn’t work but the owner answered promptly and was able to open the door remotely, she subsequently put me in contact with the house manager who was very attentive throughout. There was ample towels, bedding was great and beds were comfortable. Great supply of coffee and creamer. A nice handbook with noted activities and nearby shopping. Location is great, you can access the uncommercial portion of the riverwalk on foot.
Excellent location, loved the two houses! They were perfect and had great amenities. The hosts were amazing. Would definitely stay again. The trains were a little loud, but that’s just part of the location. Loved it! Thank you!!!
Great for our extended family. We loved the neighborhood. Easy to walk places.
Nice amenities provided by the host. Very communicative too. We definitely recommend.
This was close to almost everything we wanted to do but still in a neighborhood. This is an older neighborhood and the house was older. It had been very nicely renovated, and the bathroom and kitchen were very modern. The floors were a little uneven, and there were wooden steps at the front and back of the main house, so entry to that may be tricky for someone with mobility issues. The back house was easily accessible. Bathrooms were very small but bedrooms were roomy. There was some traffic noise which might bother some people. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms which is nice for warm weather. There were plenty of towels and sheets. TVs were a little complicated for us older folks and we never figured out if we could get local channels, but we were able to find what we needed. We weren’t there to watch TV anyway. The code I was given didn't work on the main house locks, but I called Maria (property manager) and she reprogrammed them immediately. All in all, we enjoyed our visit. I recommend the food at the Liberty Bar.
We had five adult men over 60 staying at the property. We each had our own bedroom and were very comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with high end appliances, and the house is remodeled beautifully.
The location is close to downtown and Riverwalk, but a little far to walk for us older guys. Even so it was a short, inexpensive Uber ride to get to Riverwalk, and there are lots of restaurants and a nice sports bar within walking distance from the house.
Our only issue was that the gas grill was in poor shape and after trying to cook burgers on it, we opted to cook indoors on the beautiful gas stove.
Overall a great property and we would stay there again.
We were exhibitors at the Texas Bandmaster Conference at the convention center. The property was perfectly located for our event. The house was spacious and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property management were very pleasant and responsive. We plan to reserve for 2024 TMEA conference in February.
As others have said, this is a gem of a property! It worked amazingly for our family. Our daughter, son-in-law and toddler stayed in the bonus cottage and it worked perfectly for them. They would come and hang out with the rest of us in the main house. The communication was top notch! We had a couple of small issues and they were dealt with immediately! Loved having the TV's in the bedrooms, and the kitchen worked great for our needs-- we had many meals and fun in the house!
Solid Stay in Southtown/Close to Downtown/I-37/I-10
We stayed here with a group of six for our daughter's graduation over the weekend from Trinity University. We got a lot for our money. Main house has three bedrooms and two baths, including one en-suite. Back house, which comes with the deal, has two bedrooms and one bath. Modern updates throughout, including the main house kitchen, which has the equipment necessary for preparing basic meals. Big bedrooms with lots of closet space. Very clean. We had heavy rains over the weekend, and a small amount of rainwater did seep onto the backhouse floor underneath one of the exterior walls, but it was almost indiscernible. Room for three vehicles beneath the driveway carport. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance in the Southtown neighborhood, one of San Antonio's numerous interesting transitional neighborhoods. Five or six minutes driving and 20 minutes walking to a nice hub of Southtown restaurants and bars and shops on a spur of the San Antonio Riverwalk. One or two minutes driving to I-37/281 and connection to I-35. We'd definitely stay here again.
This house is very nice inside, very clean, well furnished, comfortable beds, good showers, etc. The kitchen is well-stocked.
The only negative about this home is that it's on a very busy street, which makes for a lot of road noise, especially in the main bedroom, which is 30 feet from the road (the road is the only neighborhood feeder to the interstate). If you are a light sleeper, they do provide a white noise machine, but it wasn't enough for us, unfortunately.
