About this property

Jasper's Corner Store- 2 blocks from Magazine Street

Two blocks off Magazine St and a stone’s throw to Jefferson Avenue, this space was a neighborhood corner store from its original construction in 1910 through sometime in the 1990’s. Short walk to Whole Foods, Guy’s & Domilises’s Po-Boys, Clancy’s, Patois and the best of Magazine St shopping. Quick Uber ride to the Quarter, Audubon Park, Tulane and Jazz Fest.

This is a large and spacious apartment (approx. 1000 sqft), with one separate bedroom and a private entrance direct to the sidewalk. It is located in the front, ground floor, of a quiet corner. Self check-in with a keyless lock.

Full kitchen, full bathroom, ample living space, washer and dryer, and free access to wifi. The bedroom boasts a new King size Westin Heavenly Bed providing a very comfortable night’s sleep, as well as ample closet space. Plenty of neighborhood (free) street parking. The kitchen is equipped-- large refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and toaster. Ideal stay for two adults who want all the comforts of home while getting to enjoy the experience of daily life in uptown New Orleans. The space could also accommodate additional guests, esp. children, if license laws technically allowed for more than 2 guests in a one bedroom space.

Other things to note
We kindly ask you to be mindful of quiet hours between 8pm - 7am. Noise on our part will also be kept to a minimum during those hours as well, but you may occasionally hear sounds from the attached apartment. A dead-bolted door separates the the two spaces along with a sound proofing barrier. We are legally permitted to host short-term stays. (23-NSTR-16385)

Wedding Weekend for Low Key Couple
We loved this rental. They graciously allowed us to host a family gathering to kick off our wedding weekend. They were very kind and quickly responded to our request. I would totally recommend staying here if you need a little space to host a dinner party! They even had some serving ware that they allow the use of. So nice!

Great location and charming property
Me, my mom, and sister booked this property for our annual mother/daughter Mardi Gras trip! Property was beautiful, even bigger than expected, and we loved the big open kitchen, living room, and dining area. Gwen was so nice via text and made sure we had a parking spots, towels, and extra mattress to sleep on! We had everything we needed during the entire stay. It was walking distance to Magazine St, which was perfect! I will try to book this for us every time we come back to New Orleans and recommend it to everyone!!

What makes this property unique

Very spacious! Tall ceilings and unique layout of an old store. There is nothing square about this space, which is part of the charm.
