Nestled under a huge pecan tree, you'll love the big windows, natural light, & front porch on this historic home built in 1910. This 1 bdrm bungalow is the perfect place to stay if you are traveling solo or w/ a pup. The wood floors are original & it has been lovingly remodeled for those wanting a modern kitchen. Close to the hike and bike trails along the bayou that lead downtown - makes for a great walk if you are bringing your pup. Most guests stay > 1 month. Discounts built in for 4/8/12 wks
The space
This cozy cottage boasts plenty of space for one to two people, and provides all you need for your stay! Just 2 blocks from the light rail, and a block to the hike and bike trail, you will enjoy staying in this vibrant neighborhood so close to downtown and the Heights. Enjoy cooking in the chef's kitchen w/ Bertazzoni range, reverse osmosis drinking water spout, and plenty of pots and pans. You’re sure to love the tall ceilings and tons of natural light. There's even a separate work area, as you'll find a desk in the hallway. The laundry room / back entry has a new washer and dryer - right across from the bathroom w/ claw-foot tub and modern updates + bath salts for Sunday soaks. The bedroom has a new Beautyrest queen size bed, large closet with hangers, and a dresser for you to use.

Entire house and yard are yours to enjoy! Don't forget the front porch for relaxing and getting some fresh air!
Other things to note
Housekeeper comes every other week to keep up with light cleaning during your stay.

Lawn service stops by every other week to cut the grass.

Why they chose this property

The Near Northside is a special place! Situated just N of downtown, and just E of The Heights, you can catch the hike and bike trails along the bayou to get to either! And just 2 blocks away, you can catch the light rail on Main Street. Just 3 short stops and you'll see all downtown has to offer.

What makes this property unique

This 1910 bungalow is near and dear to my heart. It was lovingly remodeled and now features and updated kitchen with high end appliances, including the Bertazzoni range. The claw foot tub is wonderful for soaking, and the front porch is a relaxing place to enjoy a cup of coffee while your pup enjoys rolling in the grass.
