Clean, minimalist rental

I want to preface my review but saying I have stayed in many rentals both domestically and internationally and have a 5 star rating with VRBO as a guest. We were two retired couples staying there. The home was clean. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but on the whole OK. These are the things you will need to be aware of and/or bring if you decide to stay there. In the living room: there is a Roku TV with no subscribed services. Kitchen: There is no toaster or ice maker in the fridge. There are only 4 teaspoons, 3 soup spoons, 3 dinner forks, 2 dessert forks and 3 butter knives. There are 3 bedrooms but only the master has a closet. There is no iron or ironing board so make sure your clothes are pressed before you go. Also make sure that the plumbing has been fixed.

House is close to everything. Great communication with the host. Beds were comfortable to sleep in and I loved all the pillows.

Cute but ants and bad neighborhood

Upon arrival we had ants in the first bathroom and ant in the bunk beds, therefore we paid for a three bedroom 4 bed and only used two of the beds and one bathroom to shower in. Ants were in the tub in the other pushing grout out of the wall. Other beds we’re comfortable but our teen daughters weren’t too excited about sleeping with their moms. I will say the property manager was easy to communicate with and did have an exterminator come spray outside but the ants were inside and never offer to give a discount of any kind. Overall this place was ok but won’t stay again.

Cute Property

We arrived in town and weren’t sure if the house would be like the pictures. However, we were pleasantly surprised. They remodel that was completed on the house is great. Loved the entire house. My Mom was in heaven saying she wanted to stay in the cute house. It was perfect for us!

Girls Trip

We had a great weekend in Waco! The Colcord House was in a great location being about 6 minutes away from the Silos and boutiques downtown. The house was set up with all the essentials provided. The house was very clean and the beds were great! We loved the boutique cards and menus for the local restaurants. We will rebook.
