I'm a married mom with a 20 year old. I was in brand marketing for most of my life. As such, I've been fortunate to have traveled the world with my previous career. Yet, I'm creative at heart, having grown up painting with my mom. I love being able to walk into an old house and see the possibilities no one else can.

About 8 years ago, I began to make the transition into owning a few rental homes. My husband and I are completely self-made and practical... hence tend to be "do it your-selfers". So, it is with lots of hard work and sweat equity that we are thrilled to welcome you into our lovely little abode.

Why they chose this property

I loved the neighborhood. It's historical, hip yet quiet and so close to downtown. There are sculptors, artists and professors moving in now all around us. It's just a few blocks to the river walk so I like to jog along the path and see the old bridges spanning the river, or walk to the Farmers Market on Sunday mornings. Our neighbors are peaceful and nice, it's so quiet here, yet close to all!

What makes this property unique

Large, completely fenced and private back yard with towering trees and a large deck. So close to downtown (just blocks to the river walk and just 1.3 miles to the silos., yet such a peaceful and safe neighborhood. Lovely old architecture in surrounding businesses just a block away where you can find neat eateries, a scratch kitchen bakery, brewery and Jamaican café. The house boasts super tall ceilings with lovely windows that give it a light, fresh and airy feel. The open concept with kitchen and living is great for relaxing and visiting.
