About this property

Linesider Hideaway Beach House - North Captiva Island

Welcome to North Captiva Island and our home Linesider Hideaway. North Captiva is a barrier island to the west of the mainland Pine Island and is only accessible by private boat, island ferry or private plane. The seclusion of this island are what make it truly unique, close enough for modern amenities, but far enough for a nice break and slow down. Whether you are coming to the island to spend more quality time with the family or coming with a group of friends to enjoy the year round fishing opportunities close by, North Captiva has something for everyone.

The island currently has two functioning restaurants, Mangos Pool Bar and OTW (Over the Water restaurant), both which are very close to our home. Next to Mangos is a small island store with some bare essentials and Boats n Fun where you can rent kayaks, golf carts, fishing or sight seeing charters.

This is a new custom 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home in Safety Harbor Club on North Captiva Island. The home has a central location on the island and is located steps from the association private tennis courts and nearby pool. It also comes with one four seater golf cart and six bicycles for island traveling.

The home has an open concept living, with vaulted ceilings and kitchen area which allows home to feel bright and airy.

The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, reverse osmosis water, Keurig, and all other essential small appliances.

This home has 3 full bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed with private bath and a 55” Smart TV. Access to the back deck is available from this room. The second bedroom has 2 full over full bunk beds which is perfect for kids or adults. The third bedroom has a queen size bed and a 40” Smart TV. Access to the front porch is available from both the second and third bedrooms.

The downstairs has been setup as an outdoor living space with brick pavers under the entire house. Sit and relax in the shade with a breeze on the outdoor living sofa and chairs while reading a book or watch the big game on our large screen tv. Use the propane grill to prepare a meal and serve it downstairs on the table and seating for six. Grab the provided tennis racquets or pickleball racquets to play a game on the courts directly out the backyard or play a game of cornhole under the house while lunch is on the grill.

Safety Harbor Club docks are a very short walk away or golf cart ride. Here you can fish off the docks in the bay, relax on the crows nest lookout or keep your own boat here during your stay (small daily fee required). You can also charter a boat to pick you up here for a day of fishing, exploring or maybe lunch/dinner at famous Cabbage Key (less than 10 minutes away).

If the beach is why you came to visit, you are in luck. We have private access in Safety Harbor that you can take a five minute walk to or load up the provided beach chairs and umbrella in the golf cart to ride down there as well. There are miles of semi private beaches that you have access to.

Never been here before, don’t worry we will help you along the way. Our guests are provided with an on island property manager upon booking. This property manager will be your main contact throughout your stay. They will give you options of a few companies that can shop for your groceries and stock the house ahead of your stay or you can bring your own across on the ferry. They will connect you with Island Girl charters that run multiple daily trips from Pineland Marina to our island. It’s a ten minute boat ride. Once on island, the concierge will pick you up and all of your luggage and transport you to the house. Here they will get you settled in and show you around if need be.

Minimum 5 night stay.

Fantastic House and Owner
This is a beautiful house in a convenient location. The kitchen is very well appointed with high quality appliances and cookware. Our kids loved the bunks and the treehouse out back was a hit. The bikes and all the great beach accessories in the garage were great too. We also appreciated access to the Safety Harbor Club beach access and pool as lower-key alternatives to the public beach access and NCIC pools. Homeowner and property manager were very helpful and timely in communication.

Great Getaway
We had a wonderful fun and relaxing visit. The house we great and fully stocked. A lot of places don’t have great cookware but this had it all. We loved the down stairs patio and watch madness and grilled out. The place is centrally located, so that worked perfect for our needs. Beach is maybe 3-5 min golf cart ride. The beach was gorgeous. Very authentic and the shelling was amazing for the young ones. We had 3 pools that we went too. One that comes with the association of the property and it was nice. The island is still coming back from the hurricane, but this immediate area was in good shape and the island is recovering well. Mango’s is a great bar and pool restaurant which is 2-3 mins away. We hiked, played basketball, pickle ball, biked all over, took boat rides, and did the beach and pool everyday. Island is not crowded so it was perfect for us. Pro tip there are not many restaurants so bring groceries. We did and it wasn’t an issue at all.

General
The house was perfect and had everything necessary for having a good time outdoors. Strongly suggest that you should describe properly how to get the ferry from Pine Island. It was rather difficult for us coming from Europe And we really got lost not having this info

Stress free week in Paradise
This property is gorgeous and super clean. Everything that we needed was provided for us. Communication with the property manager and owner was outstanding, which left us with nothing else to do but relax and enjoy. Being that it was our first time to the island, we asked a ton of questions that were answered quickly and in detail. Kale and his wife ( property management) were fantastic and so welcoming! They helped us from the planning stages ( groceries, what to bring and what not to bother bringing, transportation, ect) all the way to retrieving our luggage and taking us to the ferry. We loved our stay and will definitely return! This was by far our best and least stressful vacation ever! Thank you all!
