2-Storey Entire Home close to Lakehead University

Cute, clean, comfortable and centrally located 3-bedroom home is just off the campus of Lakehead University, close to Thunder Bay Community Auditorium, Canada Game Complex, Thunder Bay Regional Hospital, restaurants, grocery stores, movie theatre, Highway 11/17 and the Thunder Bay International Airport.

The three spacious bedrooms are newly painted and furnished. Each bedroom has a bed c/w fresh and clean beddings and plenty of pillows for your comfort, a dresser with large mirror, a closet night stands and enough of room to store your belongings. Extra blankets are provided in the common closet right cross the bathroom.

The bathroom is newly renovated. It has a brand new bathtub, shower, vanity and soft-close toilet. Clean towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, napkins and hairdryer are provided.

The living room has a love seat and pull-out couch, a desk work area, coffee table/end tables with plenty of lamps, a brand new 4K UHD Roku TV with free Netflix, YouTube built-in program, and high speed WiFi.

The newly upgraded kitchen has some basic kitchen equipment and utensils, including range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker (with complimentary coffee, tea), toaster, rice cooker, kettle, pots and pans, knives and cutting boards, bowls and plates, cutlery, cups, drinking glasses, basic cooking salt and pepper, soap for dishwasher and regular dish washing, etc.

A dining room with a nice set of solid wood dining table and chairs is connected to the kitchen where you can sit and enjoy your meals.

Free laundry in suite, including laundry centre, detergent and dryer sheets etc. An iron and a cute little iron board are also provided.

Private free parking spot provided at front door. Parking also available in visitor spot or on the street.

Large storage room and many closets ensure ample space to store your belongings.

Place was clean and centrally located. Came with all of the creature comforts you’d expect from a hotel. Only spent one night here, but I assume this place would be much better for a prolonged stay.

Nice apartment to crash at during a several day stay.

We needed a 3 bedroom place for 3 days while visiting. This worked great. Kitchen worked well, space was adequate, and we got just what we needed.

The property was well managed and the location was good for us. It was very clean and the process to stay was flawless. However, there is a smoke smell on the lower level that was hard to ignore. Perhaps new furniture in the living room would be helpful.

The house was very clean. Beds were comfy and a nice surprise was fans in all bedrooms and living area. A very quiet neighborhood and safe walking around..Only downside was not much in walking distance as far as stores but plenty within 5 minute drive.

Very nice place and location

I loved it. It was perfect to have a visit with my daughter. Kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms upstairs were perfect. The area seemed to be surrounded by mostly students and it was a great place to go for walks. Everything you need is very close. People were telling me the area gets rough nearby but I didnt see it. Could use a couch instead of 2 loveseats. But all in all I loved the place and would book here again.

Disappointing

Check in process was good, and owner was prompt in replying to my questions. Good location to get around Thunder Bay. She had fans through out the house, as there is no A/C. Which we appreciated as we had hot weather. We stayed a week. The internet was good Our concerns of the property where the following: 1. pictures posted on her site of the beddings/linen appeared as hotel quality and well coordinated. What was on the beds, were disappointing of poor quality and uncoordinated. 2. Mattress were well worn and uncomfortable. The master mattress had us leaning into the middle. 3. The frying pans were in rough shape, 4. She was gifted a charcoal bbq, which was not in the listing. But it was dirty with old fish skins and cigarette butts on the coals. Either you take it away, or clean it up. 5. She had rules of only doing laundry during 7pm to 10pm on weekdays, This is the only place we have rented with these rules in place. 6. The loveseats in living room were sagging and uncomfortable. We would stay here again, if the property made upgrades
