House was clean and convenient. the kitchen utensils need upgrading, the can opener was quite old and barely worked. I had to buy a pitcher to make lemonade. The beds were very comfortable. It's an older home but comfortable.

HOUSE
House was old with paint chipping inside and bathroom floors not very clean. Only 4 large towels with no kitchen towel (only a kitchen wash cloth). Aluminum pans burned food. Overall, it was nice just to have a house to stay in instead of a resort.

I have hosted short term rentals for fifteen years before taking a break a few years ago. I plan to make your stay unforgettable. I have a good knowledge of Harwich, the Cape and favorite activities so I can make recommendations and help you plan your trip.
Why they chose this property
This house has been in my family since I was twelve. I also have known some of my neighbors this long. People tend to stay in this neighborhood and there are very few vacationers here. That being said it is a terrific getaway because you are surrounded by nature. The air is just different on Cape Cod. There is a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, I find the mornings particularly enchanting, having that first cup of coffee on the back porch!
What makes this property unique
This is not a small cottage but a fully "winterized" house, on a beautiful, rustically landscaped lot set back from the very quiet street. This is not a touristy neighborhood, but a more residential and part of old Cape Cod. Joseph's Pond which the house has deeded rights to, is located about 40 feed down the street and there is a "secret" trail that leads to it. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is located about 1.4 miles away, and also there are many nearby beaches. You can wash off the sand using the outdoor shower, a very enjoyable experience!
