About this property

The Perfect Lakefront Get-Away

Outdoor fun or relaxation with family or friends is the order of the day at this beautiful lakefront home. We supply the row boat or launch your own (electric motors only). You can swim, fish or soak up the sun on the spacious dock. There are two large porches running the length of the house with ceiling fans, a hammock, porch swing and glider, Weber gas grill and redwood table for dining lakeside. Inside we've made your stay a breeze with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, 2 flat screen TVs with DIRECTV and a DVR for recording your favorite shows free, as well as unlimited WIFI. The master bedroom has a queen bed and its own bath. The 2nd bedroom has a full and twin bed, the 3rd bedroom has two twin beds. There is also a 2nd full bath. All linens are provided as well as the basics to start you off. Ceiling fans throughout and central air keep you feeling fine. Whether you are watching a majestic sunrise over the lake or sitting cozy by the fire, you will shed your cares and enjoy the peaceful setting. We are 1/2 hour from Augusta National, 1 hour from Columbia and 25 minutes from downtown Aiken and its many attractions. There is plenty of parking. Come kick your shoes off, relax, and make a memory!

Not sure why this guest rated our property only 8/10. These people were total slobs, after renting for 2 months upon checkout housekeeping found the house a total mess. Blood on bed lines which had to be discarded, refrigerator full of food, trash and snack bags under beds, dirt, food and beer bottle caps on dinning room floor, grill was a mess. This and more all verified by photos. An additional $345.00 in cleaning costs was incurred that the renter will not pay and for some unknown reason vrbo will not deduct from the security deposit. Our property is consistently reviewed as a 10 for cleanliness, this is the absolute worst condition it has been left in, in the 12 plus years we have been renting.

Great House for Brief Stay near Aiken

We were down for a couple of horse shows in the Aiken area and needed a place for two families to share. It's a nice property, the lake is pretty, it had all of the amenities we were looking for. Very comfortable and clean.

Nice cabin on the lake

Perfect little cabin to stay in while visiting family in the area. Everything was set up very nicely. We didn't have the greatest weather to enjoy the lake but it was beautiful to look at. It was perfect weather to enjoy the wood stove in the evenings. We hope to return to this cabin again!

Quiet Father Son trip

Great little cabin on a private lake. We enjoyed fishing on the boat and just the overall peace and quiet of being out in the country. The owners had everything labeled very well and it was a super easy rental. Will stay again.
