As do we, Consider you friends!
You were perfect guests and we look forward to your next
visit! The place didnt seem the same when you left! It was like the "emptiness" after family moves away!
Beautiful, the staff were attentive, the kayaking, swimming and hummingbirds were an added pleasure. We were very pleased with all that was offered. Planning on returning as soon as possible.

Thank you thank you!!! We do try to treat every guest like family :). Glad you had a great time and look forward to seeing you again.
If looking for peace and quiet with a view then this is fantastic place. The pool and kayaks make it a good value. We kayaked through the mangroves to the next bite to the East where Tricos bar and grill is. There's a bar and grill called Mangrove Paradise just inside the Mangroves was fun to paddle to.The hosts Nancy and Phil were great to talk with.

Thanks Chuck! You and Llori were a pleasure to host. Hope the rest of your visit was great! Sorry the wind made for limitations on snorkeling. :( Upside nice breeze downside a bit choppy for snorkeling. You just cant predict the weather! Dead calm one day, breezy the next. Hopefully we see you again. Safe travels where ever your travels take you both.
Nancy and Phil are wonderful hosts and it was a pleasure waking up to the view of the Caribe point bay and watching the sunset. The pool was unexpectedly warm and refreshing as it's a salt water pool. It's a great place to relax watching Nancy's flowers grow and Edgar the chameleon coming to visit (and eat food out of Phil's hand). I would enjoy staying there again.

Hosts were very accommodating, helpful, and all around wonderful. Location is remote and peaceful yet there are restaurants nearby. The use of the kayaks and paddle boards was awesome and the mangroves were easily accessible and relaxing to paddle through. Very nice little reef directly in front, the dock access was great for swimming, snorkeling and boat pickup. Not near the hustle and bustle of the west end, but definitely a more island feel which was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful island getaway.

Thanks so much for the great review! We're so pleased you enjoyed your visit and like the "less crazy" East end as much as we do! We'll look forward to you hopefully coming again and maybe getting to spend more time with you!

Being sailors we found the boat house was perfect for our 2week stay visiting with sailing friends who anchored right out front! The pool was always a hangout for bbq and card games, overlooking spectacular views across the bight. Exploring this part of the island with our rental car was extra exciting as the roads are very 3rd world! We drove down and backed out of a few steep and washed out places (fun for me but not my wife) Turquoise Bay was a beautiful day stop for lunch and beach time (no cruise ship day) Having kayaking available for snorkel trips was great for us water people

Thanks for your review Jamie. You folks were an ABSOLUTE pleasure to have visit! You've inspired us to explore more!!! I hope your travels bring you back someday . We'd love to see you again!
This was my last stop on an amazing 12 day trip in Honduras. Plan was to relax and kayak! Loved the place and view could not get enough of. Enjoyed reading a book in the morning in the hammock and then heading out on the water. Kayaking was great with mangrove tunnels to get to some great bars/restaurants. I had snorkeled often the first half of my trip so I continued to Kayak but snorkeling was available. There are quite a good amount of steps to get to the place but it is private and well worth it. I would absolutely stay here again. Chris

thanks so much! glad you enjoyed your stay. look forward to seeing you again
This property is absolutely wonderful. Right on top of the water. We loved the views, the breezes and quiet time on the deck. The property is well appointed and the kayaks are an extra bonus. We loved that this property has a pool and we used it to cool down at the end of the day. The pool views are awesome while cooling down. Phil and Nancy are the on site owners who are there for any of your needs or questions. They are responsive and accommodating to you request. If you're looking for a relaxing property that still has access to restaurants and other activities this is your place. We utilize the fresh seafood delivery and were not disappointed with this service. Thank you Phil and Nancy for everything!

Didn't Have The Roatan Vibe
This is a cute property right on a cove. It is not close to many restaurants or stores. The terrain to get there is mountainous, narrow, with unpaved/poorly paved roads. Once there, you have over 115 stairs on steep terrain to get to the the unit. The pool is shared with the owners and only open to guests from 10am-5pm. In order to use a kayak or paddleboard, you must put down a $100 deposit. There is a small window ac unit in the bedroom that cooled the bedroom at night just fine. But, the ac unit would not cool the bedroom for a nap during the day. There were many different varieties of ants in this unit and we both left with several ant bites. And, if you missed it, you are charged per kwh for power.

sorry you were not happy with your stay. Becuase there is only one pool on property, it is stated in the listing that it is shared with the owners and the villa guests. We actually avoid using the pool when guests are using it. We have yet to decline any guests request to stay in the pool later than 5pm yourselves included so Im suprised you brought that up. Likeswise, the listing is clear that there is only an AC unit in the bedroom and that guests are responsible for their own electric use. Im sorry if the $20 we charged for the Electric was a burden. We do our best to keep costs down and feel its better to let guests manage their own useage vs raising rates overall to cover worst case scenarios. Regarding the $100 deposit...thats a leftover from the original owners and thanks for pointing it out. We've never charged a deposit for use of the kayaks or paddle board. I'll remove it from the listing. Lastly the ants. There are ants and other insects here in the carribean. We are eco conscious and do not spray poison but we do provide mosquito coils in the rooms. We've found if the guests keep food off the counters and clean up afterthemselves the problem is greatly reduced to non-existent.
We appreciate feed back so, where possible or appropriate we can make adjustments. We were allowing guests to bring dogs subject to adherance to our rules. Since your stay we are no longer allowing pets.
