Beautiful log cabin with views of the Rocky mountains! We saw (and heard) elk on the property, and it is just a short drive into Estes Park. We will return to this chalet on our next trip!

Our first overall impression of the property was good with a few maintenance issues. We were a bit taken back when we first walked in to the chalet because the carpet was badly stained and appeared dirty. Needs either deep cleaning or replacement. Cushions on the dining chairs needed cleaning or recovering. Many of the blinds are in need of repair. Some of the window weather seals are hanging loose and would hit the windows when the wind blew. The decor greenery was dusty but everything else appeared to be clean. This is a nice little chalet but would benefit from some serious maintenance.

This home is off the beaten path but close to everything. It had everything one could want in the kitchen and bath. Nice comfy bed. We had deer and lots of hummingbirds each day. Easy key pick up and drop off. Great place!

Great cabin! The bed was comfy, the furniture was nice and even the frypans weren't a wreck like they are at most places! I've learned to bring my own after years of traveling, but I wouldn't have needed it here! We would love to visit again! Just gorgeous!It wouldn't be great for anyone with mobility issues having the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom down. Just keep that in mind.A couple suggestions: the living room carpet really does need a good cleaning. People can be sloppy with someone else's property. Sad, but true.The kitchen sink's drain plug is worn out and there is no plastic basin for hand washing knives and pans. A simple fix.On our last night there a bull Elk went sauntering down the driveway between our car and the cabin. Word of advice, do NOT run outside for a photo op! They are huge animals and can be aggressive during rutting season. That being said, it was a wonderful experience to see one up close and safely behind doors (for us, not the Elk! He stayed outside ;) )

Beautiful spot

This location was so beautiful. It was great to be away from town and actually in the quiet woods. Yes, it is a little close to the road, but the noise is brief. My only grievance was that we would have really liked to be able to control the speed of the fan in the bedroom. We also had some slightly colored water from all taps and according to the those handling the rental, it was from all of the rain amd pine needles. We werent sick, but a little put off. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, and the views were spectacular. I loved the extra blankets and will be ordering some for our home right away! Thank you for having us.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting RMNP! I have no complaints, however the carpet really needs a good cleaning or replaced. We did not realize there was no air conditioning, there were 2 fans available and with the windows open it was always comfortable! Over home is clean and well kept!

Great Mountain Views and a nice little cabin. Close to town, but still felt private. Clean and well appointed. We saw deer in the yard on several mornings. Would definitely return.

The cabin was fairly clean but dusty and needed updating. The carpet was in need of cleaning or replacing. There was no ac (which it was not listed on the listing, but I just expected there to be). So the upstairs bedroom area was quite stuffy and warm even with the windows open. The cabin was adequately equipped but did only have the very basics. Had way too many things like plates, cups, and silverware for a 2 person cabin, but no large mixing bowls. It was fine but not great. The check in process was easy when we figured it out, but the communication before check in had differing information in it so it made the process a little confusing as to where we needed to go to get keys.
