Wonderful Summer Cottage on Great Diamond Island
This beautiful five-bedroom, two-bathroom, turn-of-the-century house is located on Great Diamond Island, in Casco Bay. A 20-minute ferry ride from downtown Portland, Maine, the island is quiet and peaceful, with scenic views, family cottages, and bay beaches. The house has a wonderful wrap-around porch that looks out on a huge, sloping lawn, and it is just a short, two-minute walk to the beach. Enjoy bike riding, swimming, fishing, playing tennis at the nearby court, or just lazing on the porch. Or take the ferry into Portland for dinner and drinks at some of the city's amazing restaurants, bars, and breweries. The house comes with a golf cart, grill, and outdoor shower.

The owners of this cottage are a family LLC who recently re-purchased their grandparents summer cottage. The owners have wonderful childhood memories of their GDI summers where they enjoyed the freedom and adventure of the island summer.

This sturdy, 100-year-old house is extremely well maintained. Staying here is like traveling back to a quieter, more peaceful time!
