FANTASTIC place! So much to do in this area now, we absolutely loved its location. The bagel shop is amazing! The window above the front door could use a curtain, the hall light is pretty bright for anyone sleeping on couch. Otherwise perfection.

The room was clean with an incredibly comfortable bed. The property was in a great location and not hard to get to. What set it apart was Ashley’s communication, she did a great job in that regard. Would recommend for a young couple curious to explore KC!

Good communication

Didn't end up staying at the property due to a booking issue however, the owner communicated well, was very nice and refunded all the money promptly. Will definitely keep this property in mind for the future.

This was a cute little spot. The microwave was really gross, like it hadn't been cleaned and I took a picture and sent to the property manager who responded quickly. I just cleaned it myself instead of having someone come in. Property manager was really helpful when the internet went out and for me extending my stay. I like that the building was completely secure and it was on the ground level.

I feel I must warn others about Ashley as a host. I stayed in one of her places for 30 days while getting treatment at KU Medical. During that time I dealt with smoke in a non-smoking room, a non functioning toilet, issues with the door locking and unlocking, loud volume from Bingo every Wednesday night in the restaurant below and animals scratching in the ceiling the entire stay. The units are nicely decorated but old and cheaply equipped. Ashley is very smooth talking but cheap and consistently deferred to “policies” that wouldn’t allow her to give discounts and problems with the building that wouldn’t allow issues to be resolved sooner. She even insinuated that my medical treatments were making me over sensitive to all these issues. At no point did she take personal responsibility or go out of her way to see that I was satisfied with my stay. In the end, she did not even refund my cleaning deposit. VRBO stepped in and refunded their fee after months of working on it. Be smart. Look for a better host and more pleasant experience than I had.
