This is an amazing property that is great if traveling with school age kids! Plenty of space and thoughtful touches. It is really close to Shem creek restaurants and patriots point. We loved the pool- only wish the hearing fee was included in price of rental!

The property is probably better than the pictures actually show. We had a great time and the set up was wonderful for having our family here for a family wedding. There is plenty of open living space to spread out. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the pool for multiple days as there was rain but it was nice for the evening we were able to use it. The only improvement would be that the pots and pans need refreshing if you are cooking much.

Great location and home!

Amazing location, easy access to downtown as well as the beach at Sullivan's Island. Several amazing restaurants and Shem's Creek within walking distance. Comfortable home with everything we needed - Thank you!

Fantastic Stay

Our group had a great time with our stay in this home! It's walking distance from multiple grocery stores as well as the Shem Creek boardwalk area and was a quick drive into downtown Charleston. The home itself had an open layout which was perfect for our group, would highly recommend!

Can’t wait to come back!

We loved our stay at this home! Tons of space for a large group to stay and not feel crowded. The pool and backyard was amazing for relaxing and we loved the location. Many restaurants within a 10 minute walk and 15 minute drive to downtown! We will be back!

Perfect location for our family vacation!

The house was absolutely beautiful and in an amazing location. It was even bigger and more open than the pictures show! The master bedroom was large enough for me and my two kids without anyone waking each other up. The kids also loved the back yard with the tree house, slide and swing. Having the pool was great for a nice afternoon of relaxation. I would absolutely stay there again!

Great get-away

Our family (6 adults & an infant) spent a great April week here. Loved the layout (huge primary suite & bathrooms for each couple) and backyard. It’s an easy drive to Charleston or the beach, but the neighborhood is quiet for an evening stroll. Owner helped us coordinate w/ Baby’s Away to easily rent baby equipment. We paid to have the pool heated and it was perfect!

Great place for a group to stay when visiting Charleston! We loved the location, and the house and pool were very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Very close to shops like Trader Joe’s, Harris Teeter, Whole Foods. We also went down to the docks at Shem Creek, 5 minutes away, and bought fresh seafood. Check in was easy - no issues. Only small issue was that the internet wasn’t very strong, but we were on vacation, so it wasn’t a big deal. We would recommend this house 100%.

House is in a great location for downtown and Mt pleasant. The tough thing about this house is the equipment for the pool is directly outside master bedroom so laying in bed you hear the machines at all hours of the night. Luckily we only used two of the three bedrooms and moved to one on another side of the house that was quiet.

Thank you for your review. Our goal is to provide a 5 star experience, but this can be challenging when we are not make aware of a problem after checking to several times to check on things. We have hosted many guests over the past few years and no one had ever mentioned this before. We would have loved to have known this was an issue during your stay as it is quite possible that this was a mechanical issue that could have easily been sorted immediately.

Relaxing Getaway

This place was everything we hoped for and more. The pool was amazing and we spent some time everyday by the pool relaxing. The house had everything we needed and the host was very responsive to questions. Ultimately I can think of no better way to celebrate my Wife’s B-Day. All 4 of us (2 Adults and 2 kids aged 6 and 8) had a blast. Located within walking distance (<1 mile) to several excellent restaurants. I’d highly recommend this location. The art throughout the house is a nice touch.

Quaint Neighborhood

The house was clean and sizable for family of 8 including parents, grandparents, and 4 kids ranging from 6-18. The pool was great and the kids enjoyed the swing in the backyard. Only downfall was trying to shower around the same times due to hot water running out. We figured it out and staggered bathing so it ended up working out. Overall, recommend property to other families.

Thank you for your feedback. This is the first complaint we have received for this property. 8 people getting ready at the same time will be taxing on any hot water heater unless it is tankless.

Great vacation home

Everything lovely! Only suggestion is middle room Mattress pad a nuisance everyday had to remake entire bed the ends slip off mattress. Suggest plastic ware for pool to assure safety. TVs in every room … some games to play on rainy day. But home was absolutely lovely ! Thk u

Our stay

It is a nice property. My sisters and our daughters go on a trip each year. Good communication with Joyner. Only thing I would say is that there were 8 of us which the online property stated they would accommodate, but the chaise lounge was ok but not a bed and a blow up mattress is ok but also not a bed. They could easily put another full or queen bed in the master bedroom or other bedroom to accommodate good sleeping for everyone. Overall we would come back again.

The host was great! Had a little issue with the pool, but it was equipment to be blamed, not owners fault. She was very prompt to get someone out to address matter and made sure our stay was great everyday. I would stay here again. The location was phenomenal

We had an incredible visit to Charleston while staying in this beautiful home. The house was very spacious, open, beautiful decorated and exceptionally well-equipped (pool towels, quality chef’s knives and cookware for cooking, and lots of spices, games, extra blankets, Sonos sound system, various cozy seating areas for spreading out, floats for the pool, and on and on). The hosts were very responsive when needs arose. The location was perfect. We went runs on the Bridge, to Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s for beach and dinner (Home Team and Obstinate Daughter!) downtown for shopping and dinner, Shem Creek to buy fresh seafood to prepare for dinner, (biked to) Patriots Point for sailing camp and to visit Ft. Sumter and USS Yorktown, sunsets on the pier, brought kids bikes and they enjoyed biking the neighborhood and to play in the park and fish off the boat ramp, and played tennis (note: the tennis court new but made of interlocking plastic modular tiles rather than clay). Also Ruby’s Bagels across the street is amazing! The beds were comfortable and the pool was irresistible! We don’t have babies anymore but there were lots of areas that would have suited a pack n play perfectly! Couldn’t recommend the property more highly.
