Twenty minutes from downtown Kansas City and the sports stadiums! Located in a small town with all the amenities and just minutes from the city with shopping and entertainment. Situated between Watkins Mill State Park and Smithville Lake for outdoor enthusiasts. Check out local trails for hiking and a paved four mile loop right in town. Plenty of local options for eating and several cute boutiques within walking distance. Enjoy the splash park in the summer and Fun Farm Pumpkin Patch all fall! This home also offers a two car garage with handicap accessible ramp into the house. Large doorways throughout the house and extra holds in bathroom for assistance into shower with bench. We had a delightful time staying at this property. The house was very welcoming and comfortable for a family visit with our daughter and son- in-law. The location is close enough to Kansas City, but far enough to feel you are in the quiet countryside.

We had such a good time staying here! The house is older but well-built. The location was convenient for all our day trips and is in a quiet neighborhood. The bathrooms are updated and we loved the AC on the hot days. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay. The house has a lot of space, is very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Host is great! It was furnished very well. This was fine for us, but it’s about a 25 minute drive south to get to Kansas City. No problem if you plan your day well.

Perfect for a girls weekend!

Overall the house was great! Clean and plenty of room! Only quirk was that the fridge wouldn’t close all the way unless you manually put it back on the track. Other than that everything was great! Would stay here again!

Great location

This place was conveniently located in town. It could really use some maintenance regarding the master bedroom floor. We didnt wear shoes in the house since we don't wear shoes in our home, but each night our feet were black.

Thank you for your stay. I am noticing your stay was nearly five months ago and thus I am happy to inform that we had found the wax used previously on the kitchen floor was. causing some build up. We have since been able to strip all of it up and redo some of the flooring - and find a much better floor cleaner for wood laminate. The master bedroom has also been shampooed and cleaned as that is regular cleaning procedure each couple months with any carpeted flooring.

A comfy home with antique charm

Updated where it needed to be, but still had hints of it's history. Plenty of room, clean, easy to get to. Beds were comfortable. Everything we needed was available. Communication with the host was excellent. We even got to know the neighborhood goats! Would definitely stay again.
