About this property
Log Cabin on a private 18 acre lake, with hot tub, kayaking and fishing.
Welcome to Cole Creek Acres from your hosts brothers Mark and Larry Fisher. The cabin is Amish-built, yet has all the modern amenities, including a full kitchen, central heat and air, hot tub, 2 bedrooms, a sofa bed, and a loft, to comfortably sleep 10. The property includes a private 18-acre lake, with fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The cabin is 13 miles from Kalahari and 22 miles from Cedar Point. The property has been in our family since 1963. We love it and hope you do too. You will be 1000 feet off of the highway, but you are 100% in nature, and only minutes from the city of Norwalk. There is a tiny house on the property, and some family buildings across the lake, but there will be no one within 400 feet of your cabin.

About the host
Hosted by Larry Fisher
My name is Larry Fisher, and along with my brother Mark, we are proud to share our cabin at Cole Creek Acres. I am a middle school teacher and Mark makes concrete ornamental stones. I have 4 children, ranging in ages from 14 to 27. All of us enjoy working on the cabin and the grounds of Cole Creek Acres. When you message us or have a question, either me or Mark will be the one taking care of you. Family is important to all of us and when you stay with us you will get treated like family.
Why they chose this property
Cole Creek Acres is over 100 acres of woods, farmland, and water that has been in our family since 1963. Mark and I grew up on the property, and spent our younger days playing in the woods and creeks on the property. In the 1990's the lake was made as a result of a sand and gravel company creating a quarry on the property. The result is our beautiful 18 acre lake, that is up to 40 feet deep. The lake is spring fed, with great fishing. We love the property, and bet you will too!
What makes this property unique
Our property is right off of a state highway, but once you drive down the hill to the cabin, you could be anywhere. The quiet and peaceful setting will give you a chance to recharge and relax. Both of your hosts live less than 2 miles from the cabin, and we will do everything we can to make your stay one to remember.
