This studio w/kitchen & bath, is a relaxing & romantic getaway, decorated in a unique nautical theme honoring the Ship Captain that owned this Historical 1926 building.

Enjoy the vintage cast iron claw foot tub. Pour some wine, add some Lavender bubble bath, light a candle & relax with a good book.

Enjoy the artistic paintings and the mural in the kitchen, as well as the original bead-board and architectural design from a by-gone era.
Adults only in this cottage. Pets are welcome. Has Stairs.

Captain's Cottage is part of the Historical Enchanted Cottages by the Sea complex and has been hosting guests since 1882!
Enchanted Cottages by the Sea consists of 4 units. This upper level cottage "Captain's" & 3 other cottages. The other 3 cottages are Sandpiper, Hollyhock and Serendipity.

In Seaview, you are within walking distance to the Beach and the 12-mile Discovery Trail, plus great restaurants and unique villages up and down the 27-mile long Peninsula.
Less than 1 block from North Jetty Brewery, fantastic locally brewed beer & a favorite stop after a day of playing outside. Family friendly till 6pm.
Centrally located in the heart of the peninsula you are just a few blocks from the beach entrance road. Only a 11 minute walk or drive your vehicle on the beach. South of the entrance are tide pools. Visit Cape Disappointment State Park & 3.5 miles to North Head Lighthouse.

Additional amenities include Pet Friendly, locally roasted coffee, ROKU, Spectrum Cable, WIFI, filtered water, board games, beach towels and antique decorations.
Outside common area includes covered seating under the gazebo and firepit (seasonal) and play the lawn game cornhole with the kids.

Flowers, local plants and birds abode the *Seasonal* gardens around the property.

Built in 1926, this cottage has a sloping low ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom. No standup shower but the antique claw foot tub does have a hand held shower. Bubble bath is provided. There are a few outdoor only cameras.

Captain's is located upstairs above our Hollyhock unit. Hollyhock is a one bedroom Eclectic themed cottage with kitchen and sleeps 4. If you need more space take a look at Serendipity, the main house built in 1882 that sleeps 6 with original stained glass.

Limited on site parking but plenty of street parking. We have dedicated parking spaces, please only use your dedicated spot labeled "Captain's Cottage".

Shared yard spaces with other guests. Three other cottages located on the property.
Dogs under 60 pounds allowed, pets are an additional fee per stay. Max of 1 big dog or 2 small dogs. Must be people & dog friendly because of the shared courtyard space with other guests and dogs.
Backyard, courtyard and Gazebo are all shared spaces.

No laundry room access for guests but extra bedding and sheets are available. Need more please send us a message and extra can be arranged.

**NO COOKING CLAMS OR PAN FRY BACON IN THE KITCHENS** (oven bake the bacon is okay) The smell last for days! The kitchen is good for light cooking due to size and ventilation. If smoke or heavy odors are detected in the cottage, a up to $200.00 cleaning fee is charged to remove residual odors. No guest after you wants a stinky kitchen!
