Our property is expertly managed by Rather Be Properties, and we’re committed to making your stay enjoyable and seamless. Our team is available daily from 9 AM to 9 PM to assist with any questions or requests. You can easily reach us through the Vrbo app, by phone, or email. For any urgent issues after hours, we also offer a 24-hour emergency line, ensuring support at any time during your stay.
Family-Friendly:
We’ve thoughtfully equipped the home for families traveling with young children, including a pack ’n play with crib sheets, high chair, sound machine, baby bath, baby monitor, kid-friendly cups, plates, bowls, and utensils, plus books, games, and puzzles for all ages.
Pet-Friendly Accommodations:
We welcome one dog only (up to 60 lbs) for a $150 pet fee per stay to cover additional cleaning. Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Dogs may not be left unattended, are not allowed in the pool, and excessive mess (such as urine or feces) will result in an additional $200 cleaning fee. Please let us know in advance if you are traveling with a dog.
Pool Heating:
Pool heating is available for an additional $125 per day (plus tax) due to the high natural gas usage. This fee will be billed prior to arrival if requested. Please note the pool cleaner services the pool Monday and Thursday mornings and accesses the yard through the side gate.
Hot Tub:
The hot tub is included in your nightly rate and can be heated using the backyard controls. Please allow up to 2 hours to reach 100–102°F. If you’d like it warmed up before arrival, just message us and we’ll be happy to turn it on.
Desert Living:
This home is located in the desert where sand and wind are common. On windy days, some sand may enter the pool. While our pool cleaners do their best to remove it, a small amount may remain. The windiest season is typically April through June.
Noise:
The home is located near the airport, and guests may see or hear planes overhead. Most guests find this entertaining rather than disruptive, and the airport observes an overnight curfew.
Air Conditioning:
The home has a fully functioning AC system; however, during extreme summer heat (above 110°F), we recommend setting the thermostat no lower than 72°F to prevent freezing the unit. Please keep all windows and doors closed while the AC is running.
Parking:
The garage is not available for guest parking. Please park in the driveway or on the street directly in front of the home.
The Area:
Nestled at the foothills of the San Jacinto Mountains, the home offers scenic desert and mountain views while being just a 10-minute drive to Downtown Palm Springs, where you’ll find dining, shopping, galleries, and nightlife. Outdoor activities like golf and hiking are also nearby, and Palm Springs International Airport is just minutes away.
City Requirements:
Under City of Palm Springs regulations (including Ordinance No. 2075), all guests must sign a Rules & Regulations document prior to arrival, and a valid driver’s license from at least one guest is required for identification. These requirements are mandatory to maintain our rental permit, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

House Rules
• Primary renter must be 25+, sign a rental agreement, and provide valid photo ID. The registered guest must remain on-site for the entire stay. Subleasing is prohibited.
• Maximum occupancy is 8 overnight guests ages 13+ and 2 guests 12 and under (total of 10 guests), per city regulations. Exceeding this limit may result in fines or eviction.
• No parties or events. Loud music, rambunctious gatherings, or excessive cars disturbing neighbors are strictly prohibited.
• No sticking tape on walls or pictures, and no confetti is allowed.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 10 AM. Excessive noise or disturbances may result in immediate eviction without refund.
• Smoking or vaping is not allowed indoors, including cigarettes, marijuana, or e-cigarettes. Any cleaning or damage costs will be charged to the primary guest.
• Pets must be on leashes in unenclosed areas. No dogs in the pool. Please clean up after your pets and be mindful of barking to avoid neighbor complaints. Max 1 dog
• Only park in designated areas: Parking is available in driveway, or directly in front of the property. Max 4 vehicles allowed. Avoid blocking neighbors’ homes or driveways.
• Children under 18 must be supervised at all times when using the pool or spa.
• Firepit and BBQ must be operated by responsible adults only.
• No firearms, fireworks, or hazardous materials allowed on the property.
• Follow all local, county, and state laws and short-term rental regulations, including all rules on the City`s `Good Neighbor Brochure`, provided prior to checkin. Noncompliance may result in eviction by city without refund.
• Late checkout may result in a fee of up to $200 unless approved in advance.
• Fines may apply for violations of house rules or city ordinances, including Code Enforcement penalties.
