A Great Stay

Beautiful property! The history of the house was very interesting. Great location close to town, very accessible but also a little off the beaten path so it is easy to rest. Great stay!

Charming Historical Home with Great Location!!

Perfect spot for my family and I while I was in town for work. Very convenient to downtown Hannibal. Spacious house, great A/C, Smart TVs (4 the kiddos), great decor, porches are a must to sit on and watch the Mississippi roll by.

Our Special Getaway

This house epitomizes the feel of Hannibal. Mark Twain and Molly Brown are felt throughout the house. We enjoyed being able to walk to the river, the lighthouse and shopping areas. The cleanliness and comfort make it feel like home. We highly recommend you stay here when visiting Hannibal, after all, it was our second stay.

The House worked GREAT

We used Hannibal as a halfway meeting point with friends to hang out, visit, and have fun. The only drawback is one small bathroom to shower. Otherwise, all was GREAT. We knew about the bathroom before we booked soooo....

Wonderful Place to Stay in Downtown Hannibal!!

Thank you to the excellent hosts and others who maintain the property! Molly's Riverview Retreat was a very lovely place to stay for a long weekend with my two sisters. We enjoyed the history of the home along with the modern conveniences (even electric fireplaces in the 2 upstairs bedrooms). The beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the high-quality bedding and towels. The kitchen was well-stocked, though we only had breakfast and snacks there. We enjoyed sitting outside on on the covered porch also. The whole house was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully put together for guests to have whatever they might need. It was a great experience and we highly recommend this property!

Amazing location

An amazing historic home. We basically parked the car for two days after visiting the cave. Loved getting to walk to everything. The home was lovely. I had my 9 and 5yo daughters and they loved the porches best of all. The beds were comfortable. Amazing air conditioning. Well stocked kitchen! The neighborhood is undergoing some “reconstruction” but we felt very safe in the neighborhood. Two things to be aware of: the door frames are low. My 6’2 husband discovered that quickly. There is one shower bathroom upstairs and it is “cozy”. If you are a large person you may find it tight, but really it is workable. The shower was fantastic and had great water pressure and hot water. It was a beautiful stay and I’d recommend it. Be sure to visit the Mark Twain cave. It is a maze cave and so fascinating. We ate at the Mark Twain Dinnett ans Java Jive twice because we liked the food so much and it was walkable, but there are other options. The sandwich counter at Clemens looked great be we had already eaten. Have a great trip!
