Kristine was a great host- with answers to all of our questions, the house is gorgeous, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms all tastefully remodeled, the location is right next to the beach on a quiet road, west Falmouth market is close by, the beds and couches are comfy! Just a lovely place to stay in a beautiful town on the Cape!
Great stay and house. Plenty of space, parking and places to sleep. Didn't spend much time outside of the house due to weather, but the house was able to accommodate and entertain for 9 very easily. Great spot!
The property was as described, clean and comfortable for our group of 10 people. The location, within walking distance to the beach was great. The outdoor space was also comfortable for our group. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the property to others.
A neat tidy place with enough space for kids and grandparents, with all the amenities needed to make things comfortable for everyone. We walked to the beach and had a quick ride to Woods Hole for ocean science goodness. The bathrooms were lovely as well.
We had a really wonderful stay! The house is absolutely beautiful and a 2 minute walk to Old Silver. The house had plenty of room to accommodate everyone’s needs and we had a really fun time!
The house was perfect for four sisters. Very tastefully upgraded and comfortably furnished. The owner was very accommodating to our needs. Would like to return in warmer weather to enjoy all the house and beach have to offer. Would highly recommend.
Our book club of over 20 years had a fabulous weekend in your beautiful home. We enjoyed the decks, hot tub, beach access and fire pit. The kitchen was well equipped for our meals and nice to have multiple bathrooms for 10 adult women. It was a great stay and we all agreed that we’d come back again.
We had an amazing stay at this beautiful and super clean home. There was plenty of space for our family of four with friends visiting through our stay. Old Silver Beach is a short walk down a path and through a parking lot (not great for older folks who are a little unstable, but otherwise fine). The owner was incredibly responsive and great to work with.
The house was perfect for our family, including my son who ran his first marathon, and two others who ran the half. Loved the proximity to the beach, the hot tub, and everything was very new and in great condition. Will totally come back!
My family of 8 just enjoyed the most wonderful week at this absolutely beautiful home! The 4 bathrooms are pristine and all beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. The front, side, and second floor decks are spacious with lots of seating. Old Silver Beach is our favorite cape escape and is an easy 5 minute walk. Our only wish/suggestion would be for the first floor living room to have more seating - this gorgeous room is large and open to the kitchen and dining area, but the sofa and swivel chair only offers seating for 3 - 5 adults and our group of 8 would have loved to have had another sofa/love seat or a couple more chairs to hang out there and chat or watch tv. The upstairs den has a larger sofa than the first floor, but we never used that room.
Our family enjoyed our stay. The house was immaculate. We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped location. The house had a lot of extras like beach towels and chairs. It also had two bikes but one bike had a flat tire. They have a great bike bath right by the house. They also had two kayaks but one was extremely nasty and had too many patched holes to use. Hope these will get fixed.
The location was perfect. It was next to beach and bay but super quiet and close to many restaurants. We ate in most of the time because we enjoy cooking but did go to Seafood Sams to pick up when finishing late one evening. It was good.
The beach was nice. We played games in the living room. We had 8 adults in the house - 3 couples and we were all very comfortable.
The downstairs basement could be really cool. We used washer and dryer to wash lots of clothes. They also had a pool table down there.
It was more than we normally pay for our family but definitely worth the money and had great value. We invest in family vacations to strengthen our relationships and family bonds and this house definitely facilitated.
The house is not across the street from the beach you cannot see the beach from the house. The walk by the road is quite a distance maybe a quarter of mile and the path that is offered as a short cut is covered in poison ivy. That said: Windows and sills of house were very dirty and filled with dead bugs. The deck railing were black with mold and grass growing between the boards of the decking. Also a broken chair on deck. The kitchen was not gourmet: pans were cheap and coffee maker had not top to it. Bowls were plastic and mismatched. Dishes were once nice but now some chipped and cracked. No waste basket in kitchen only trash compactor that smelled.Hot tub had fresh water but no chemicals and no one serviced it the seven days we were there.Around the bottom of the hot tub was dirt and green slime and a broken wine glass in the grass. There was a pool table in the basement but all the pool sticks were broken except one.The ping pong table was standing on its side and covered with green mold.I contacted the host to complain and I was told if I didn't like it we were welcome to leave.I had family coming from out of town so that wasn't really an option. I spent part of a day cleaning the deck and railings and cleaned the best I could around the hot tub.I was definately disappointed with this rental. The beach was beautiful and we had a good time dispite the disappointing aspects.

It is on the Herring River and across the street from Old Silver Beach. The cape is so relaxing and enjoyable with lots to do.
