I brought my son and two grandsons to ski at Loveland. This was a great location for us to stay. It was only about a 20 minute drive from there. The boys loved the downstairs area. Everything was clean. I cooked breakfast every morning and found everything I needed in the kitchen to feed 3 hungry boys. The only thing I would recommend getting for the kitchen is a plastic pitcher of some kind. We Southerners love our sweet tea. I had to make it in the coffee pot which was fine since no one in the family drinks coffee. Overall. a great place for us. Loved gathering every night watching movies and playing games provided. Definitely will stay here again We walked to 2 restaurants. one was The Dairy King and the other was The Empire Grill. Both were really good.
We had mixed feelings about this home. It was large, modern and had nice touches for our family of 5. The mattresses and blankets were cheap but overall it is a nice property. The problem is the location. We only found one restaurant (next door and very good for breakfast/lunch), and no grocery stores in the town. The donut place was good too, but it would have been nice to eat some meals at the rental. we chose this location because it was just 20 minutes from Loveland ski area, but what we didn’t realize is that if it snows than I-70 Is a mess and potentially even shut down. It took 2 hours to get to Loveland our first day. It is on the best side of the Loveland pass if you want to ski Loveland, but stay away if you want Breck- the Loveland pass was closed for 3 days straight during our stay. Likewise for Winter Park- 45 minutes there in clear weather, but the road closed during snow and is avalanche prone. It took us nearly 2 hours to get back from WP.. also a minor gripe- the ping pong balls and air hockey paddle were cracked and useless and there are no stores around (that we found) to buy replacements which was a big disappointment for my kids.
Group of friends stayed at the property. Close to loveland ski resort . Great place to stay ,plenty of space for the 6 of us. Had a great time. We will book again.
We had a wonderful week with our son. Lots of fun games to play. Karen is very attentive, she just took over as manager and was very helpful. We plan on coming back.
