Great property! Very clean and comfortable. The beds were also very comfy. Great amenities. Great location. Close to excellent restaurants and shopping. Will be back!
Truly a perfect location. close to shops and food as well as views of the ocean. Clean and well appointed home and deck. Note: We had a mini van and it wouldn't fit in the garage even with the mirrors folded in, and was too long to park in driveway in front of garage (it is a REALLY short driveway) so plan on street parking. That said we never had an issue finding a spot within a block. Would stay here again.
Love the location and within walking distance to restaurants and scenic spots.Garage is convenient & small…my midsize Toyota sedan rental was a very tight fit. Decent amount of free street parking available in April for a long weekend.
Great location - walk to beaches, into town, short drive to Laguna or Huntington. Garage parking is a plus - small cars only because it's a tight squeeze.

I loved this property ! I had a girls Galentines weekend with two other friends and it was perfect ! Very clean and well maintained. The deck was amazing with ocean view . Walking distance to everything . Also there was a farmers market on Sunday just blocks away. I will definitely stay here again!
Stayed here for a short weekend with my husband and two friends. The house was perfect for what we needed. The house was immaculately clean, had just enough space for the four of us, and the location couldn't be beat. We especially loved the front porch area with seating and a view of the ocean. Walking distance to many restaurants and of course, the beach! Highly recommend.

relaxing time is a typically quiet neighbor. Some construction going on across the street, but generally just a relaxing time close to the beach and surrounding by impressive properties.
We walked in and it was exactly as described. House had everything we needed for the beach. I enjoyed drinking coffee on the patio with the ocean view. We went to the beach multiple times and walked the neighborhood over and over again. Area was clean and people were friendly. Check in was super easy. We can’t wait to stay again!
Our family of four had the best long weekend stay at the Seaview Cottage! The house had everything we could have hoped for including beach gear & beach toys, bikes & a beautiful view of the water from the deck! The house was wonderfully stocked & the location was hard to beat, with tons of amenities & attractions within walking distance of the house. A few of our favorites were walking to China Cove Beach & larger Corona Del Mar State Beach, as well as taking a stroll over the Goldenrod Footbridge into town to grab coffee, lunch & visit a local playground with our kids. Visiting in late September, there was ample street parking & the garage fit our Volvo XC60 which was convenient as well. Overall our stay was a 10/10. We'd highly recommend & will hopefully be visiting again!
Property itself was very nice, clean, and great location. However, might want to list that only up to 4 people at all times are allowed there. We had a few extra people for a couple of hours there to get ready for our party and kept getting calls and notifications that only 4 people are allowed at all times on the property. Only 4 people stayed the night and were there the next day. We didn't even use the property the 1st night, didn't show up till almost 11am the 2nd day.

Thanks so much for your review. Our listings and all of our correspondence stated several times that the maximum guest count for this property is 4. This is per the City of Newport ordinance. I am sorry if you did not see that in the listing or the rental agreement that you signed or any of the emails that I sent you or in the book on the counter that states specifically the ordinance code and the link to the city so you could read it from them as well. We are very transparent of the city ordinances that we have to abide by and so do the guests we rent to.
We had a wonderful visit to Corona del Mar thanks to the central location of our rental. Our host went above and beyond to assure everything was ready when we arrived and throughout our 3-week stay. The garage is a little tight, but unless you are there in the high season, plenty of street parking is available. It's a very walkable area, so there are many days when we didn't even use our car. My only suggestion would be to fill out the supply of plates, cups, dishes, etc. Everything else was well supplied, including paper products, trash bags, detergents, etc. If you are considering this property, I highly recommend the food delivery service prior to your arrival.
The house is small but very clean and comfortable; the location is fantastic. About 25 minutes from John. Wayne Airport and 1 block from the beach. Also a very easy walk to many restaurants and grocery stores. We did have a few issues during our stay. The WiFi service is very sketchy. It didn’t affect us much because no one was working from home and we had no teenagers with us. But for 24 hours one of the TVs did not work and we could not even do basic things like check emails or use apps until we left the house It was a Sunday and I contacted the manager hoping I could easily reset something but I never got a response. We also were without hot water for one day; but in that situation the manager was responsive and got someone to come and fix it that afternoon. Overall we had a pleasant stay in Corona Del Mar.
My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming beach cottage in Corona del Mar. Rich (property mgr) was so helpful. I grew up in the area, so I knew the tight squeeze of homes on the street and the lack of "privacy" when sitting on the patio as walkers passed by. This wasn't an issue for us, but something to consider if you're seeking privacy as you're enjoying the outdoor area.
The house is on the corner of a fairly busy street, so during the day, there's a little traffic noise, but we didn't hear a thing in the evenings/night. Also, absolutely follow the guidelines Rich and Sheryl send ahead of time...especially for the garage. A smaller sized vehicle is all that will fit. The house was clean and we had eveything we needed. We loved the location, seeing the ocean, and taking daily walks around beautiful CDM. I'm returning to the area next year and will definitely stay here again.
The cottage was cute and clean. The beach was farther away than I thought and the cottage was located on a hill. You had to walk a block and then down steep stairs to get to the beach. I estimate it was a 15 minute walk to restaurants. The second bedroom had a bathroom that was very small. To access the laundry room, you had to go outside through the front door or through the second bedroom bathroom, which had a door to outside. I suspect that bathroom was a porch or laundry room in a previous life. It was very cramped and I ended up just using the main bathroom, except at night. The cottage is on an intersection and there was neighborhood traffic noise during rush hour. The place is cutely furnished and very clean. The check in process was excellent and we enjoyed having our granddaughters there for one night. Would I return. No. It took us over 1.5 hours to get there from the airport and everything was farther away than I expected. I prefer Manhattan Beach with its endless beach and close proximity to the airport.
