Great little cabin for our family:) Had a wonderful time and used all the amenities. Hot tub was very clean, BBQ was great although one burner was out. My only advise is the 3rd bedroom is really only comfortable for smaller children. The foam mats made into a bed but are more like a camping bed situation. Beautiful little neighborhood with cute hens right next door:) so close to the lake a nice 10 minute walk.
The house worked well for a family ski vacation. Hot tub was very nice. To improve, I would suggest providing some firewood for guests, upgrading the mattress in the downstairs bedroom, and a full roll of paper towels.

Thank you for the nice review. We do appreciate your feedback. We do not provide firewood, as it is not the primary source of heat. The area does have many places that sell firewood for your use. As for the paper towels, we leave one on the dispenser and one under the sink. If the one on the dispenser is low, we will leave 2 under the sink. I do see that 2 extra paper towel rolls were left behind. I do apologize if you did not think that was adequate paper towels. We only supply enough for you to stat your trip.
This was a great experience we loved everything was good it is a beautiful place the town, the cabin. We really enjoyed our time there and definitely want to go back again sometime next year. Thank you so much
Great house, had a bear get in our cars, so I recommend locking your cars. He didn’t tear anything up just got a few Gatorade bottles and opened them. Hot tub was very nice.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Darn bears, they do like to get into vehicles. Always good to take extra precaution around here and lock everything up!
We look forward to hosting you in the future!

Reviewer Comments:
Overall it's a nice place. It's a bit small for over 6 people. There isn't much comfortable seating in the living room or dining table beyond 6 people. The beds are really old/used and uncomfortable. That would be my biggest gripe. Big divots, way too soft and just generally unsupporting - I tried all of them. The hot tub is great and the amenities work well. Great location.
I am disappointed, and I feel sorry for the owner that hired Tahoe North Rental. The home has mice, we killed one, had to clean up mice droppings on the kitchen counter, in the laundry room and dining area. Knowing that the property manager would not do anything about it unless I could prove there was mice, it was not hard to get pictures because there were mice out in the daytime.Second, the icon description of the property stated 2 bedrooms that have king size beds in each room and 1 bedroom with a queen size bed. However deep in the narrative description, it stated that the the third bedroom was a daybed that converted into a queen size bed. I requested a refund because the description was not clear the property manger stated that the actual pictures show what the converted daybed looks like made up. What the picture shows looks like an air mattress on the floor. I got a mattress on the floor. See the picture below.

Reviewer Comments:
The good: 1. Great location.2. Kitchen was stocked well enough for basic meals.3. Hot Tub was nice. We used it almost nightly.4. Plenty of towels/beach towels, some games. The bad: 1. The washing machine was broken when we arrived. I was informed via email the day before my check-in. They had a new washing machine scheduled to be replaced the Thursday before we checked out which was on Saturday. We had a lot of laundry that needed to be washed. Tahoe NORTH Rentals arranged to have their cleaning staff take care of our laundry. The staff that came to pick up the laundry were rude to my family and were not very friendly in general. It appeared they were upset that they had to wash our clothes. We were here a few days before our actual check-in so we had 4 bags of dirty clothes that needed to be washed. This was mentioned to Tahoe NORTH Rentals and they were apologetic for their behavior.2. One of the two bedrooms up stairs appeared to have mold. My daughter was concerned enough not to use it for the kids. They ended up sleeping on the twin bed located in the living room.3. The screen door to the down stairs bedroom was bent to the point where you couldn't close and latch it.4. There was another bent screen that belonged to one of the windows that was left in plain site in the back yard.5. One of the sliding doors in the downstairs bathroom tub didn't slide very well. You had to lift in order to slide it.6. One of the burners and the ignitor didn't work on the BBQ. They provided a lighter to light the BBQ. There was a note stating parts were on order. This was not a big deal for me but thought I should mention it for your other guests.7. I don't feel that I got what I paid for. I think we should receive some type of credit based on my comments.

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was smaller than we expected but ended up being ok. We had 4 adults and 3 kids. The two rooms upstairs have king beds and not a lot of closet space. The room downstairs has a very small bed. It’s cute and not fancy but had everything we needed.
