About this property
Walk To Lake Tahoe And Private Beach/Pier, Remodeled Kitchen!
Nestled on a peaceful, secluded street in Tahoe Pines, Big Water Pines is a charming cabin retreat just 5 miles south of Tahoe City. This 2-bedroom, 1-bath getaway with an entertainment loft offers a cozy escape with a beautifully remodeled kitchen, a warm living area with a wood stove, and a hot tub for relaxation. The cabin provides parking for two cars, and high-speed internet allows you to stay connected.
On the main level, you'll find the dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, the living room with a wood stove, a full bathroom, and a queen bedroom. Upstairs, a spacious entertainment loft equipped with a TV (streaming only) and a sleeper sofa. Also located upstairs is the second bedroom with a king bed that creates plenty of space for friends and family. High-speed Wi-Fi, a stereo system, and a hot tub in the landscaped backyard add to the experience, making Big Water Pines the perfect vacation spot for creating lasting memories year-round.
In summer, relax outdoors with a hammock suspended between trees, a landscaped yard with patio furniture, and a gas BBQ (summer only). Located just blocks from the lake, enjoy the Tahoe Pines HOA private pier and beach, perfect for swimming, kayaking, or sunbathing. Hiking and biking trails in nearby Blackwood Canyon are ideal for exploring Tahoe's scenic nature.
In winter, Big Water Pines becomes a cozy alpine escape with easy access to top ski resorts. Palisades Tahoe and Alpine Ski Resorts are less than 10 miles away, perfect for skiing, snowboarding, or snowshoeing. After a day on the slopes, return to the warmth of the wood stove, or unwind in the hot tub under the crisp, starlit sky.
Guests love that this home is cozy and well-appointed. Its prime location offers easy access to hiking, walking, and biking paths, and it's within walking distance of the HOA beach and pier. It's an ideal spot to relax after a day outdoors and is perfect for families, especially those bringing their pet dogs.

As long-time locals (thirty plus years), we are always available to assist with your stay, ensuring a seamless and memorable Tahoe experience from booking to check-out.
