Blueberry Cottage was a very cute. The host, Lynn, wasvery friendly and she even gave our dog some loves. A very quiet and relaxing stay in a beautiful area. Definitely will book again when we're back in the Gorge!
This was perfect for what we had in mind. It was easy, it was comfortable and peaceful, and the host was attentive. They’re some quirky things about the cottage, which is why I gave it a four rather than a five, but it was a lovely place to stay and we would return.
Cozy and comfy space! Kitchen had all we needed to cook our breakfast meal. Lin was very quick to respond to any questions, and was helpful and sweet in showing us around.

Bathroom Ok equipped. Lacking washclothes, conditioner etc. Kitchen was great. Overall cleanliness was ok, floors and bathroom vent van were dirty. Host was very nice and helpful.
Positives? Soft bed, worked for the one night we were there, close to the Lodge, A/C worked, saw the turkeys.Negatives? Previous reviews covered already the extremely loud toilet with the separate sink area and the footsteps from the host that lives above you [not mentioned in the listing]. We have stayed in AirBnB's and VRBO's before, and to us, it also lacked a "homely" feeling. A coffee maker is provided but had to hunt for the filter and coffee if I wanted to make some, no soap in the bathroom {used body wash}, and the living room set up is different from the pictures in the listing. The house is also not as light as the pictures suggest -- it's very dark in the house. Also a major misstep for us was a lack of an outlet that my husband could use for his CPAP machine. Thank goodness he brought his own extension cord.

I am actually shocked by this review.
Lets address the coffee situation first;
There is a canister of coffee on the shelf visible in the kitchen and a large can of coffee in the refrigerator.
The coffee maker does not require a paper filter, there is a permanent filter that is in the top of the maker.
Next regarding an extension cord
Two very visible extension cords one on the left of the bed and one on the right, you literally have to be blind not to see them.
Regarding the toilet, yes it is a loud toilet called a macerating toilet, but it does it’s job and is a quick flush, and never gets clogged
Footsteps upstairs, yes I live upstairs and try to be as quiet as possible. I don't have the wings or the capacity to float through the air (yet)
Dark downstairs?
There are venetian blinds for privacy that can be tilted or raised to emit bright sunshine or shade.
There is also soap in a dispenser above the sink n the bathroom
If she wanted to take the fact out on me she was tired from the drive here, she certainly was successful.
Please read my numerous wonderful reviews from people who loved their stay here!

❤️
We loved our stay here. Loved the windows looking out over the trees and hills. Yes, there are neighbors nearby, but no matter. Tub is wonderful for a soak after hiking. The bed is super comfortable, and the little sitting area was larger than it appeared to me in the photos.Slight things to consider but did not alter our rating: toilet room enters right into main room, next to kitchen area. Flush is super loud. Kitchen area is very limited, so you need to juggle appliances for space to cook meals, but everything you need is there. You hear folks moving upstairs (footsteps, etc). These were minor inconveniences for what was a truly lovely stay in a beautiful and super clean space. We had one issue with the light outside which was addressed immediately by the host. I loved it here and would definitely stay again!
