Our townhouse style beach home is located at Island House #15, in the quiet and exclusive Cayman Kai area. Just walk out the back door to your very own beach area located on Sand Pointe Cove or walk a few more steps over to Rum Point Beach. Dream Kai house is the ideal vacation home away from home for those seeking peace and tranquility away from the stresses of everyday life.

Dream Kai has just been completely renovated in a relaxed contemporary style and is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy island time and Caribbean breezes. The location of our home on Sand Pointe Cove allows our guests the unique experience of kayaking out on the cove at night to witness the bioluminescence of the cove which is found in only a handful of places in the world (see photos). The bioluminescence appears as the movement of your kayak and paddles disturb the micro-organisms in the water causing them to glow or emit light. This phenomenon is best seen on a dark night when there is no moon and away from the dock lights of the homes on the cove.

The house comes equipped with high-speed internet and TV, two adult bicycles, snorkeling equipment, (2) double kayaks, (1) single kayak, (2) smaller kids kayaks (ideal for kids 6-12yrs old up to a weight of 130lbs).

Downstairs in our home you will find a spacious living room and dining area. There is a 6-seat dining table for enjoying meals and a chaise lounge chair in the sun room which is great for reading and relaxing.

The island house has a full-size fully equipped kitchen and the view from the kitchen is breathtaking. The best feature of the island house is the spacious two-story lanai that provides a speculator view of the cove, a perfect place for entertaining. Just off the kitchen you will find a laundry room/pantry area with a full size washer and dryer and a separate powder room. Take a few steps outside of the lanai and there is an outdoor shower and your own charcoal BBQ grill.

Upstairs you will find a master bedroom suite with a king-size bed, TV, a large walk in closet with a luggage rack and a full bathroom with shower/tub. The guest bedroom has 2 double-sized beds, TV, a large walk in closet and second full bathroom with a shower/tub. Each bedroom has individual air conditioning and ceiling fans. Both bedrooms have a large private screened in balcony overlooking the Sand Pointe Cove. A perfect place to unwind and enjoy a rum punch or a mudslide.

Swim in the 20' x 40' saltwater pool surrounded by palm trees with their branches gently swaying in the breeze. For those who would rather lounge by the pool than swim, there is plenty of deck furniture provided with a mixture of chaise lounge chairs, benches and tables.

Walk over to Rum Point Point Beach by taking a short 1minute walk from your front door. As you walk toward the beach, cool trade winds quickly erase all thoughts of your job, commute and bad weather at home. Australian pines with island parrots and tropical birds sitting on feathery branches shade the shore.

Tennis courts, Crystal Caves and Cayman Kayaks (if you want a guided Kayaking tour) are also nearby.

Lovely and relaxing

This condo was very nice and cozy. Everything was as expected just a few minor things, no soap in the half bathroom, sheets on king bed kept slipping off, one of the snorkels was broken and 3 of 4 fins had broken straps. The location was great, nice clean pool and well kept grounds. The screened in porch was perfect for meals! Really enjoyed our stay!

This was a very clean condo and was a great location for our family. We prefer rum point over the seven mile beach area since it is less crowded. We were able to walk over to the beach and head back to the condo for lunch etc. We had a great stay here.

Our family of four had the perfect time at Dream Kai. We loved the relaxed pace of Rum Point yet there's still so much to do. Kayaking on the bio cove was a highlight! So easy to do from Dream Kai. Everything was exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and cove!

Another wonderful visit to Dream Kai

This was our third family vacation at Dream Kai. It's a perfect getaway. The townhouse is in excellent condition and everything you need for vacation is provided. We kayaked, swam in the pool, and walked across the street to enjoy Rum Point. We look forward to returning.

Nice place!

House was nice and clean, great location if you want to get away from the crowds. It's about 50 minutes to get to the west side and about 20 minutes to the east. Great view, short walk to a nice beach and good restraunt.

Wonderful stay

This home was perfect for our family of 4 (15 and 12 year olds). The home came with so many conveniences, the kayaks were perfect for exploring the bioluminescent bay, we went out 3 nights and each night had a different unique experience. The home also had life jackets, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear, bikes, cooler and beach towels. Literally everything we could need. It was so peaceful and felt like we had the whole bay to ourselves the majority of the time. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to stay I. Rum Point!

So fun and so close to great things!Only a couple minutes from starfish point!The bio bay was an experience we will never forget.Walking across the street to rum point was so relaxing and the beach and restaurants were easy to just “let go and relax”.We explored the entire island and had fun on the west side as well- but knew we hd a secure safe place to call home.Everything was as it said - kayaks, snorkel gear, life jackets.My only advice is to bring regular coffee (grounds) as they have a regular coffee out and not a kurieg.

Rum Point Heaven

We absolutely love the location and the property. Conveniently located across from Rum Point and a short walk or bike ride (with 2 provided) to Kaibo and Starfish Point. Having the Kayaks on site makes an amazing day, sunset and evening adventure- and you can’t beat the amazing bioluminescence bay! The unit had everything you need for a perfect stay and the layout makes the space feel spacious - especially with the lanai. This is our fifth time on the island, second in this unit and it just can’t be beat!

A Perfect House & A Perfect Location!

Dream Kai was perfect for us! The house is lovely - very clean and beautiful decor. The furniture is very comfortable, both inside and outside and the house has a cozy Caribbean feel. Everything you could want is right nearby - the beautiful beach, restaurant and bar at Rum Point , Kai Bo, bikes to ride to Starfish Point and kayaks for the bio bay. Kayaking there at night is a great experience. The owner is extremely responsive as well. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of 7MB, you will love Dream Kai.

I am a Caymanian that was born and raised in Grand Cayman and currently reside in George Town. My family has always loved spending time at Cayman Kai/Rum Point. When the chance came up to purchase Dream Kai I knew this would be a place that would be special for our family and create many life long memories.

What makes this property unique

One of the best features of our vacation property is that our back lanai opens out onto Sand Pointe Cove which is one of only a handful of 'bio-bays' in the world. Here you can use our kayaks to view the bioluminescent light show at night on the shallow cove.
