This cozy 2-bed, 2-bath home is located conveniently on Main Street. It's a perfect location for those heading out on the nearby hiking trails, trying their luck in Deadwood casinos only 5 minutes away, or looking to spend their evenings curled up by the fireplace. The oversized clawfoot tub makes for the perfect ending to your daily adventures in the area. Grab a cold brew from Shivers a block away or borrow one of the home's growlers to fill up there during your stay.
The space
Master room with king-size bed and closet. The second room hosts a queen-sized bed. Both bedrooms are located on the second story of the house along with the clawfoot tub bathroom. The living room has a futon that can be utilized for sleeping as well. The kitchen is stocked with basic cooking utensils.
Guest access
Access to the whole home and front patio area.
Other things to note
You must climb a flight of stairs to gain entry to the home from the street, please see the listing photos for reference. All bedrooms are also located upstairs inside the home.

The gas fireplace glass is very hot when in use, if with small children please be mindful that it can burn curious tiny hands.

Love this house

A clean house with comfortable beds. The host was so friendly and not that we needed anything while we were there but the few questions I had prior to check in were answered in a timely fashion. Mini splits have been added so even though we were there on a hot day in August we remained comfortable on the inside - even upstairs. I also want to add this house is VERY well stocked with items. And while you are there go to Dakota Shivers and have some of the BEST beer in the hills.

Lead Cottage

We absolutely loved the cottage on Main Street. Lead is a wonderful and quiet community with the friendliest folks! Our house was exactly what we hoped for! The beds are incredibly comfortable; the claw foot bathtub was perfect; and the living area/kitchen was perfect for our family of 4. We loved sitting outside. The heater did not want to stay lit and it could use a good weeding…but other than that…our stay was perfect!!!
