We had a wonderful stay here! The host was extremely communicative and kind. It is a lovely home and was perfectly clean when we arrived. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, silverware, plates, and cups. The view from the back porch is amazing and the perfect spot to have your morning coffee. The only thing to note is that the drive there is on a hilly gravel road, which comes with being in the mountains, and did not take away from our stay, but I would suggest using a car that can handle back roads. Overall, we had an amazing time and highly recommend this home!

The house was ready to have guests. Very well prepared, clean, enough beds & baths. Beautiful scenary from porch. We would like to visit again when we have another chance. thank you so much!
Very secluded and peaceful home. We enjoyed spending time in the evening on the screened in porch. We visited Luray Caverns which were spectular and worth the visit. Our children went horseback riding in Front Royal and had a nice time. We drove through Shanandoah skyline drive which was beautiful and also hiked some easy trails.
This was an awesome set up to meet friends after wine tasting in the area. The kids loved the swing and trampoline. Marina responded quickly and we had a great night.
We had a very nice stay here. The porch was really nice and we enjoyed the view of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and lots of space. Unfortunately we arrived at night and it was very hard to find all the turns in the dark and we had no reception on our phones so it was tricky getting to the house. But once we found it, we had a great stay!
Holiday weekend stay to attend a family wedding nearby. The house is very clean with a well stocked kitchen in terms of supplies and dishes. Very serene setting - exceptionally quiet. Porch overlooking yard is very relaxing. Just be aware that house is located off of dirt roads and is 10-15 minutes away from any businesses.
Very secluded area, perfect for our elopement! The lake was easy to access from the driveway and was gorgeous. The house itself was homey and fully stocked with everything you could imagine you may need. We stayed for a week and didn't want to leave!
Great location, beautiful property and awesome owner
Loved the stay.
Hummingbird feeder, swing for kids and adults, fully loaded kitchen and kids games, cleanliness, prompt and flexible owner made our short stay memorable. Thank you
Had a great overnight getaway with friends! Plenty of room for everyone! Loved sitting out on the screened in porch and enjoying the view and the hummingbirds. Wish we had more time to spend there.
We required an overnight stay near Shenandoah, and this place was an ideal fit. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best time to explore Shenandoah.I wish that the last mile of the road would be paved with asphalt next time.
This was a quick last minute vacation that turned out to be a very exciting one.
It is well set in a quiet neighborhood, cozy and comfortable with ample coffee and tea supplies. The yard has a swing that everyone enjoyed.
So peaceful and quiet. If you love nature this is the place.
We loved this beautiful home. There something for everyone in our family to enjoy. Seeing the sunrise over the mountain tops was amazing. Just setting on the screen in porch watching and listening to the wildlife was so peaceful. We drove to Washington DC which was just a hour away to sight see.
The home was very spacious and accommodating, with plenty of room for several people. The home is conveniently located near Front Royal and Linden, but is also remote enough that you feel "in the woods". No problems with check-in and the owner was very helpful with instructions and communication. Definitely would recommend for anyone staying in the Front Royal area.
Me and my then fiance booked Marina's charming house in the woods for our wedding ceremony, reception, and mini honeymoon.
The house and location were beautiful! Marina was amazing and replied to all my questions promptly. She let us check in earlier to accommodate the wedding.
I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for an affordable wedding location or wanting to get away for a weekend in the woods.
The weather is pretty bad around this time of year so I wasn’t able to make it to my stay on the original weekend but Marina was so understanding that she let me reschedule for another weekend!! She is so nice and understanding and the house is beautiful. Me and my friends loved every minute!!! Thank you so much!!!
Upfront the only thing we didn't like was the long gravel road drive to get to the house, although the cows gave us a nice welcome. The gps might make you miss the entrance. It was peaceful, comfortable, pretty, and with many kitchen amenities. We all enjoyed the swing. We saw wild turkeys, bunnies, hummingbirds, a big woodpecker, and some deer. The binoculars on the back porch were a bonus find for a very beautiful scenery. One of our children had a nice time sleeping in the cubby on the loft that has lights. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
