About this property

The Old Orchard Home surrounded by a small apple orchard, large meadows, and a private pond

The Old Orchard House, located in the historic town of Brandon, is known for its many art galleries and studios that boast an impressive selection of artworks from local and international artists. At the same time, live music venues provide the perfect atmosphere for a joyous celebration. Also, the local wineries, the Neshobe Golf Course, one of New England's finest, and the beautiful Lake Dunmore. So, if you're looking for a charming destination with plenty of outdoor and cultural activities, Brandon will leave a lasting impression.
The home is on 10 acres of land, surrounded by a small apple orchard, which is how the house accrued the name, large meadows, and even a private pond. Once inside, you will take a step back in time as the Old Orchard home is filled with authenticity and charm derived from its classic farmhouse design. From the pine woods flooring with radiant heat to the high ceiling exposing the vintage barn timber beans to the reclaimed barn board walls.
The house is divided into two wings that feature five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a country-style kitchen with all the modern-day appliances, as well as a great room with high ceilings and windows on both sides of the room to allow for natural lighting and an open living plan throughout with a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace made of stone and brick, and slider doors that lead out to the back patio with views of the pond and meadows. On the main level of this wing, you will find the library/den, with a sofa, chairs, a large flat-screen TV and workstation for those who still have to work while on vacation, and a half bath in the hallway. The bedroom has a king bed with amazing views and a private full bath that features a stand-up shower with glass doors, a bathtub, a washer and dryer, and a door to the patio out back. The upstairs has a small den with two oversized stuffed chairs, a flat-screen TV, and a linen closet with a washer and dryer. There are two more bedrooms, each with a king bed and full bathrooms.
On the other wing of the home, upstairs above the kitchen, is a large private two-bedroom suite with a sitting area, a large flat screen flat TV, and a shared full bathroom. There is a three-bay garage and plenty of parking in the long driveway. This property truly is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a peaceful country estate.

Beautiful place, great location.
This property is absolutely amazing inside and out. It was perfect for our crew as we traveled through the area with a peaceful location to enjoy a warm wood-burning fireplace, and it's close enough to some great restaurants and local interest points to help make your trip a great time. I will 100% stay there again if/when I am back in the area.
