Great family retreat!

Very comfortable and roomy for our group of 9. Many little extras that made our holiday just right! The owners were very accommodating. Perfect location for fun in the snow.

Great Location

Great location, that was close enough to Breck but still far enough away to not feel like we were in the busy mess of town. The place was clean and everything worked great. Parking is a bit tricky if you have more that full sized and 1 mid size vehicle. 1 small garage spot and 1 driveway spot.

Warm, Cozy & Roomy!

My wife booked this Condo for our 2012 Thanksgiving Holiday, we had family fly in town from Texas! Not only was it amazingly roomy, but it was comfy & had a very nice 'homely' feel to it! Very conveniently located and the Hot Tub was nice (and hot) as well! We had 3 couples and 2 children with us and it was perfect! Even the garage is heated and has available ski racks on the wall. The washer and dryer came in very handy as well. Would certainly recommend this spot, we've discussed making this a annual trip!

Great ski-in, ski-out property with lots of room!

This condo was perfect for our vacation with two other families (6 kids in all)! The layout is nice as it is on three levels which is good for some added privacy. It is very spacious (especially the master) and there is lots of natural light. The location is super convenient for access to the Snowflake lift. Ski-in took a little more effort with the kids (because of the flat traverses), but was no problem when the adults were skiing in by themselves. The private heated garage was nice. Sleds, humidifiers and an extra crib mattress were provided and having our own private hot tub was a huge bonus! Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location

Brought the entire family for Spring Break. The ski in/ski out location was great for the the grand kids and grand parents as well! Nice accommodations and well equipped. We'll be back

Didn't want to leave!

Located right in-between Peaks 8 & 9 This condo has it all...Great views, plenty of space, ski-in/ski-out, a private Hot Tub and just about everything you need for an amazing ski trip! Our family of 5 adults had such an amazing trip and were so comfortable for the week we were there. John was very responsive with all the many questions I had leading up to our trip and even after we arrived. The ski out was very quick and easy...just walk across the driveway, put on your ski and ski down to the Snowflake lift...however when it's time to come home you get a workout as ski-in was a bit more trouble...It is flat down the snowflake trail for most of the way home so your arms get a workout...You'll be ready for a hot tottie and the hot tub!!! But not complaining as we had a beginner skier with us this year so it too flat was better than too steep. We can't wait to go back!

A great place to call home while on vacation!!

Ski in / ski out is pretty simple. Take you skis out of the garage then walk 20 feet put them on and ski away to the lift just down the hill. Oh on the day we had 4 inches of new snow I put my skis on in the garage and off I went. Ski in works much the same...take your skis off and walk that 20 feet. Heated floors make for a cozy warm atmosphere and the Hot Tub fit for four is a great way to relax those sore joints. All in all...cant wait to go back again.

Spring Skiing at Breck

Our group had a fantastic time skiing, hiking and brewery hopping. The townhouse was a perfect hub for all our activities, especially for skiing - the access to Breckenridge mountain was easy, allowing us to stop at any point for a break. The hot tub was great for relaxing at the end of the day with a beer. Thank you John and Debbie.

Great location, plenty of room

Very nice condo for a Ski vacation. The lift is right across the road, easy to ski in and out, was able to come in for lunch and avoid the crowds and expense of eating on the mountain. Kind of a long walk to Main Street, but worth the trade off for lift access. Nicely furnished, only complaint is you only get parking for two cars. We would definitely stay again.

Cozy Condo

The condo was cozy and we enjoyed our recent stay. With a short walk across the street, you can ski down to the snowflake lift. With a little work with your poles, you can return to the condo via a path just below sawmill/crosscut trails. You can also do a relatively short walk up the hill from a bus stop along the black and yellow bus lines. The hot tub was enjoyed after skiing and has some serious jet action! The kitchen was small, but well-equipped for cooking. The owners were friendly and quick to respond when booking and to answer any questions.

Wonderful place to stay

My "adult" family stayed at this great property for a ski trip this year. The snowflake slope is maybe 150 feet from the front of the house - an easy walk even in ski boots. We liked this property because they had queen/king beds in the major bedrooms - may of the other properties that we considered had bunk beds. The bunk beds would be great for kids, but with 3 couples and a single, the queen beds were very nice. One bedroom did have a daybed, so that is where the single stayed. All of the accommodations are exactly as described in the rental listing. Everything was clean and well maintained. It felt lived-in but not abused. The house was very nice - nothing fancy, but more than adequate. The kitchen was a little bit small, but mostly we were making sandwiches for lunch or spaghetti for dinner, so that didn't matter. The heat was a little difficult to figure out, as we are not used to Radiant heat. It was plenty warm, but sometimes we wanted it a little cooler and had to wait for things to cool off. Location is close to town also - more than we wanted to walk in the cold, but we could have walked to the bus stop if we had not already rented cars. All in all, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was a great family trip and a great place to stay!

Great Condo, easy walk to town, ski out is great

The condo was great - had plenty of space and everything was very nice. Hot tub on the premise is obviously a big plus. The ski "out" is much easier than the ski "in" (requires a good bit of poling) but this may also have been due to the overwhelming amount of snow we received each night. Great overall property, thanks for sharing it.

Wonderful lodging in Breckenridge - very highly recommended!!!

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations and service provided by this vacation rental. From the moment we inquired about the property and throughout the contract finalization, the owner was incredibly honest, quick to respond to my inquiries and questions, and very easy to work with. Everything that was promised in the online ad was accurate. As for the managers once we arrived to the property, we had an issue on our first night where we needed additional sheets and the managers arrived within the hour to bring us some. This would be great during winter or summer seasons. Location is fabulous and very close to town; although, we would be fine to walk into town during the summer season you really need a car during winter months, as it's a bit of a cold long walk. We happened to be there on New Year's Eve and we could see the Breck Mountain fireworks display from most windows in the lodge! It was almost as if the fireworks were designed especially for our viewing purposes! Not too often do you get to see fireworks in your pajamas, with a fire blazing in the fireplace, from the comforts and warmth indoors!!! There were 3 small children (ages 4, 7, 9) and 7 adults; this lodge was perfect for our group. We would most definitely stay at this lodge again in the future. We felt the price was great for what we received. Everything was in great working order, including the hot tub. As a special surprise, there's was a neighborhood fox that showed his face most days! :)

Great condo, spacious, loved the hot tub. A little too warm

We stayed here for a couples ski vacation to Breck. The condo is had a fully equipt kitchen, heated garage with a few sleds, roomy sleeping space, and a wonderful hot tub. We found the ski in - ski out access very convenient. Ski out is a bit narrow and steep for first timers and ski in was a bit flat, but it was no problem for anyone with ski experience. The only reason I did not give this condo 5 stars was because of the A/C heat system. It was always hot in the condo. We tried to lower the system on day 1 and by day 4 it had only lowered 5 degrees. It was difficult to sleep comfortable when your hot. I know that fans in the bedrooms would have been all we needed.. Thanks to Tracy for bringing us new humidifiers. I would recommend this condo to families and small groups.

Great accomodations, close to everything!

My husband and I traveled to Breck for a long weekend with a group of friends and stayed at this great condo. We loved the accomodations, decorations and proximity to the town. The ski out was awesome, but the ski in took a little bit of polling...which was a little exhausting after a long day on the slopes. It was so nice to return to the cozy condo and take a long soak in the hot tub! We had ample sleeping rooms and everyone had their own space. We would recommend eating at Le Petit Paris (get reservations!) for a nice evening out. We cooked a few nights and had hot breakfast every morning and found the condo so convenient with pots/pans and spices. We'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great ski in/ski out condo!

Beautiful, Comfortable Condo

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo for our parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration. There were 11 of us, which is really more than recommended, but we were able to stay comfortably thanks to the 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms. The location was very nice, although the 4 o'clock run was supposedly closed for the first day or two of our stay. Some of our skiers took the run anyway, while others had a difficult time finding their way home due to frustrations with the Breckenridge bus system. The den and kitchen were quite comfortable, the bedding was terrific, and the decor was tasteful. The radiant heating in the floors actually made the home warmer than expected. We had to wear short sleeves inside even when it was unusually cold outside (-16 degrees at night). The property was well-maintained, the owner and property contacts were very helpful, and we would definitely stay here again next time we return to Breckenridge.

Great house in a Great Location!!

Great house with room for everyone! Was the perfect size for all 10 of us. Ski out right down to the snowflake lift. The ski in is a bit more work as you have to pole for a bit on the snowflake trail but still much easier than trying to pile on a bus. We were lucky enough to have 15" of fresh snow so we could actually ski right to the garage. Walking distance to town. If we end up back in breck, this house will be our first call.

We live nearby on Colorado's Front Range but love to get to the mountains as much as possible. Our family is very active and loves the outdoors. Breckenridge and Saddlewood, in particular, are perfect for this. We hope you enjoy our place as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

We have owned this Saddlewood townhome since early 2003. It has been a fantastic retreat in both winter and summer. There is so much to see and do in Breckenridge year round and 38 Iliff Court is central to all of it. Ski in and ski out in the winter. Hike the ski trails and around the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) pond in summer. Mountain bike all kinds of trails or road bike the paved Summit County trail system. Walk to town for great restaurants, shopping and events almost every weekend of the year.

What makes this property unique

Very warm and cozy. Lots of room and lots of sunshine. This can be your home away from home for a great mountain vacation!
