Wonderful home - exactly what we hoped for...

We had an amazing long weekend stay in this special home. The house was incredibly charming and had every amenity anyone could hope to have (grill, fire pit, hot tub, etc. etc. etc.). The inside of the home was wonderfully appointed, with comfortable living room furniture and beds. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, spices, and new appliances. We enjoyed dinner in the screened-porch. It is an easy five minute walk to a spectacular Lake Michigan beach. The owners were attentive and beyond generous. We did not want to leave!

Our stay was exceptional!

This newly renovated property was so tastefully decorated and the owner thought of everything! Beautiful decor and such a beautiful area with a 5 minute walk to Sturgeon beach. (Which we enjoyed a fall walk on the beach!) We were very close to a lot of great places in New Buffalo. I would suggest eating at Skips restaurant right up the road and enjoying a few wineries Thank you to our host for such a great place to make a very memorable weekend! I would highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Second stay in a month!

We just stayed in this beautiful home for the second time in a month. It was just as amazing as the first time. Beth is the best host we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. She makes sure you feel special and very well taken care of in all of the extra details!

Fall fun and relaxation

We loved the Basswood Bungalow! It was so clean, well stocked and so comfy cozy for our fall trip to Michigan! This was our first time visiting and Beth was a very kind hostess! We will definitely be back!!
