We absolutely loved our 5 night stay at 3 Bears Cabin! The cabin is adorable and well stocked with dishes, towels, dish soap, etc. The cabin is super cozy and has fantatistic furnishings. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great, the appliances were top line. We did not want to leave!! The host was a pleasure to communicate with. We hope to book again.
The only reason someone may not want to book this cabin is if steep mountain roads make you nervous to drive on, to get to the cabin and back to town the road is steep narrow and curvy. It did not bother us and we drive a jeep.
We arrived before dark Friday late afternoon, and I highly recommend a daylight travel/arrival as the roads are windy and some turns allusive. All day Saturday was dreary and rainy, but this didn't stop us from thoroughly enjoying our day. We relaxed with books, needle work and just some good quiet time (no TV or even music for us). We did slip out and enjoy the hot tub even in the rain and it was wonderful. The fireplace added a nice ambience. We never heard any of our neighbors although we could see cars in driveways as we left. We may return during a warmer time and explore Blue Ridge but for us, this weekend of solitude and quiet was just what we needed.
