The house is beautiful and it's quiet and close to downtown. Everything's in a walking distance which makes it really nice being out of state not knowing where anything is The host was very accommodating and on top of everything
It was a charming place to stay, clean and welcoming. We loved the location and will definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home!
Came with a few buddies for the weekend to play golf nearby. House was great and was only a short walk from downtown with lots to do. Overall 10/10 experience.

Thank you Jared!!!
I'm so glad you had a good golf weekend!
Overall, we had an acceptable stay, and there are several things this property has going for it. Communication from the host was excellent before and during our stay, check-in was easy, and the checkout process was refreshingly simple. The home was also clean when we arrived. The location is another major plus—it's in a charming neighborhood with convenient access to downtown Opelika, including excellent restaurants, coffee shops, and local shops. That said, prospective guests should know that the home is showing its age and needs maintenance in a few areas. Most noticeably, there is a persistent damp, musty odor throughout the house. We also noticed peeling and bubbling paint around several windows, deteriorated grout and caulking in parts of the shower, and grass and landscaping that were quite overgrown when we arrived.None of these issues prevented us from staying here, but they did affect our overall impression of the property. If these maintenance items are addressed, I think this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay because the location, cleanliness, and host communication are all definite strengths.
This was the perfect little house to stay in during my weekend in Opelika. It was within a quick walk to downtown. The street is beautiful (I was there when everything was blooming). The house is a little quirky, charming, spotless and well appointed. The owner is super quick to respond to messages. I will stay here again.
