Charming Beach Cabin Nestled in Quartermaster Harbor

39 easy steps from the large parking area brings you right to breathtaking views of the water and private beach. French doors open out to the deck from the living room giving you further access to the beach.

Enjoy dining, fishing, swimming or boating right from the deck. Low tide gives you many enjoyable hours exploring the beach.

Easy to bring your boat. There is a boat launch on the peninsula and we have a buoy for you to hook up to.

Pets are welcome. Please don't forget to add them to the guests list.

Our home is located on the well-known Burton Peninsula. Burton offers a easy hike in the interior or just a nice walk around the loop. We have included many details in the rooms and kitchen for everyone to be comfortable and to feel at home.

As soon as we stepped inside through the unique wooden front door, we knew the cabin was exactly what we hoped for. Very clean, light filled, well stocked kitchen, and views of water everywhere. At high tide, it was relaxing hearing the sound of water slapping against the cabin. Low tide, beach was accessible for exploring. Our favorite activity was sitting on the deck, relaxing. Highly recommend a stay here.

The cottage is the best! Cozy, comfortable and well appointed. It was so relaxing! We enjoyed our stay immensely and hope to return soon!

Beach House Paradise in Vashon

Heaven on earth. Beautifully appointed waterfront cabin on the sound. Trails through acres of forest directly across the road, boats for paddling, gorgeous deck over the water, abundant wildlife.

Quiet and cozy

Great property tucked down by the water! The fenced in deck and small yard was perfect for our small children and dogs! The kayak was a great perk and the full kitchen was very useful! Just be aware to bring any high chair or travel crib needed, as they are listed for the property but not available onsite.

Nice View

This place was very well equipped and clean. Me and my family had a great time here. Great deck to enjoy the views of the sunrise and sunset. Kayaks provided made for some good fun during the day and kids really enjoyed making smores in the bonfire at night. Our host Erin communicated with us early the day of check in which was great! Would strongly recommend this place for anyone looking for a calm and relaxing getaway to a place that is clean and all you need is a few groceries and snacks!

Wonderful weekend get away from Seattle

Vashon is such a quick trip from Seattle and this cabin is the place to stay!!! Amazingly cute and cozy and best part is that it was dog friendly. We will definitely be back. Stayed over Valentine's Day weekend and the weather wasn't great (which was to be expected) however we had the best time. There were 4 of us who took this weekend trip. Had fun exploring the island and the beach.

Delightful!

This is a very comfortable place, with a gorgeous view! Erin is a very accommodating and gracious host, and our interactions with her were very pleasant. These two old hippies were extraordinarily relaxed at this location — watching the gulls, jellyfish, and spurting clams was educational and entertaining. Our dogs were happy as well! Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

Exceeded all expectations

Amazing beach house! From the deck we viewed eagles, hawks, seals, deer, and jellyfish. Binoculars in the cabin were great for viewing all the nature surrounding the beach house. Despite rainy weather the beach house made our entire stay amazing! The hosts filled the house with everything and anything we needed! The pictures of the property don’t do justice to the experience!

This place has everything!

This house was beautifully appointed, and in a great location. The kitchen was well stocked, everything was thoughtfully located and easy to find. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our family was very comfortable, it rained most of the time and we didn't spend much time outside, no one cared. Thank you for everything, staying in your home made it very special.

Stay Away

I've put off writing this because we don't want any more folks to discover this bit of heaven. Just read the other reviews... can't add anything except that this is the best-located, best-equipped VRBO property we've ever stayed in, with some of the nicest and most responsive owners. We've already booked for next year (already becoming difficult to find vacant time though!). Don't stay here; it's already too popular!

Beautiful old fishing cabin, nicely renovated and updated. It is just a beautiful place to wake up and enjoy the day. Also, across the street is a marvelous open space, many trails and beautiful forest and ferns.

Besides the peaceful and beautiful setting, the house itself is charming, super clean and very thoughtfully appointed. It has everything you need but doesn’t feel cluttered or overly personal. You can tell a lot of care goes into the property. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic wildlife!

We traveled from Rhode Island to stay here. It was stunning. Total vacation vibes! We saw jelly fish, bald eagles, deer on the beach, seals in the water ect.....

Short but lovely stay

We were attending a wedding on Vason Island for the weekend. We were fortunate enough to find this lovely place on the water an older place built in the 1930s but updated and very cute and comfortable could not beat the setting literally over the top of the water. A big plus is they are dog friendly, and allowed us to bring our two by labs with us. The cabin was very well stocked blankets and a very friendly kitchen. Erin was very easy to work with during our stay communication was always excellent and on time. Would definitely recommend this place and we hope to return on our next trip to Vashon.

Beautiful Cottage

We had a wonderful stay. It is a very beautiful special spot. I enjoyed reading up on the history of Vashon-Maury Islands, shopping in town and watching the Super Bowl with a great water view. Great Wi-Fi. Very comfortable and cozy inside on cold days. We would highly recommend.

My family and I have be been vacationing to this beautiful area since 1964. I've had the great opportunity to share the experience with my children and now my grandchildren. All are addicted to the beach life as I am. I hope everyone who visits walks away with their own wonderful memories and experiences.

Why they chose this property

My aunt and uncle bought the cabin as a summer get away where I spent many wonderful summers and with the beach as my playground. Later it was sold to my parents then my husband and I had the opportunity to purchase it. It has been wonderful for me to share the unique experiences with my guests that the beach house has to offer.

What makes this property unique

Hop in the kayak or row boat and site-see from the water. In the evening dine on the deck and enjoy the water all around you. You might even enjoy fishing from the deck. In the day the tide is out so you can go out to the waters edge and find all kinds of beach life. It is a always changing landscape with plenty to enjoy.
