About this property

Copano waterfront, 300' private fishing pier, huge porch, boat parking, tranquil

This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with expansive upper porches is one that you'll have a hard time leaving. Uniquely located on 2 acres near the mouth of the Aransas River on Copano Bay, coastal variety is at its very best! Here you'll experience spectacular views of both open bay waters and peaceful estuary marshes while benefiting from premier fishing on or off the pier and along the 400’ concrete bulkhead. In addition to the great fishing, kayaking and bird watching are very popular in this remote area. Stately Great Blue Herons, flamboyant Roseate Spoonbill, egrets and ducks of all kinds often forage in the front yard! Inside you'll find inviting coastal decor and furnishings through-out the airy, open floor plan including original paintings from local artists and plenty of seating for comfort and dining. Delight in an amazing view of the water from every window! The large, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and personal ice machine has everything you'd need to transform your trophy catch into a gourmet meal. Next to the walk-in pantry is an oversized utility room with washer, dryer and folding counter and utility sink. There are 3 bedrooms in the house, all with 4k Roku TVs, electric privacy shutters (excellent for napping after that early morning fishing adventure) and exterior doors to the massive deck. The master bedroom features an attached bathroom with walk-in shower, king size bed and a queen sleeper sofa. The 2 other bedrooms each have a queen size bed, separate vanity/changing area and share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower/tub combo. The huge balcony overlooking the bay is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee while watching the dolphins, birds and baitfish greet the sunrise. Under the house lends plenty of room for parking your vehicles and boat (without t-top), corn-hole competitions, chalk drawing, dancing, picnicking or just relaxing in the cool bay breeze. The lighted tiki hut is a great place to store fishing rods and gear out of the way or enjoy a refreshing drink at your own personal island bar. The commercial, green LED fishing light at the end of the 300' private pier allows for fishing opportunities well into the night while enjoying the bright stars above and the lights of Rockport and Bayside in the distance. Next to the fish cleaning station is a fold up ladder for easy access to miles of some of the best wade or kayak fishing along the flats & estuaries. If you’re longing for a quiet, quality place to unwind and escape from it all, THIS is IT at Anglers Escape! Just a short drive to local attractions like Rockport: 12 minutes, Corpus Christi: 20 minutes, Port Aransas ferry: 20 minutes. There is a small beach within walking distance at our end of the Bayside bridge and a public boat ramp on the other end of the bridge.

Annual Fishing Getaway
The house was amazing. Very clean and up to date. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was awesome. We really enjoyed fishing on the private pier. We loved the outdoor space and the privacy. We would definitely go back.

Great property and GREAT owners
Perfect. Place is even better than the pics. Owners truly could not be better and were extremely welcoming. Perfect location....20 minutes from Rockport and Port A. Very peaceful property right on the water and the amenities are all FIRST class. We've stayed at some really nice properties on VRBO and this is among the very best for sure.

Amazing!!!!
I can't express how wonderful our stay was. The house was just amazing in every way and I'm so thankful for everything that you did to make it extra special for us! We don't travel much and really just in the last 4 years started taking family vacations once a year. This was by far the best place we've stayed in every single way! I will most certainly give my 5 star review! I sincerely appreciate everything! -Jame

Perfectly Pristine Bayfront House!!
My review skills could never do justice to this house honestly....that is how impressed I was by it! I have stayed in different places near and far over the years; and even the much more expensive houses I've stayed at were not as clean as this one. The owners have put so much thought into the property, amenities, supplies, and décor of this home. The kitchen is stocked with everything we needed and more! Bathrooms were well equipped as well. The layout of the house was nice as well with the master separated from the other two bedrooms if you have teenagers who like to stay up late at night! Our trip was full of family, fun and fishing of course :) It truly felt like a home away from home. Whether we were cooking on the new grill, fishing from the pier, or wade fishing out in front of the house catching keeper Trout, we all had a wonderful time. The adirondack chairs on the deck and down below were one of my favorite spots to lounge in the evening watching the sunsets. Last but not least, the communication with the owners with exceptional. They were so helpful about the house, area and even fishing spots! They shared a map of great areas for them in the past, and even what lures/bait works in certain areas. We even had a goodie basket with some of their favorite lures left for us :) This was the easy FIVE STAR rating and we can't wait to return one day!
