The HOA for Bay Tree Complex is renovating the community pool, which will be closed throughout April. The pool is expected to reopen in May 2026, weather permitting. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Introducing Bay Tree C11/12! This perfect Port A getaway sleeps 9 in this 3/2 condo! Located right by the community swimming pool with two balconies overlooking the marina and the channel. Enjoy the best sunset views on the Gulf Coast and watch the ship pass by in the intercoastal waterway. Tile floors throughout, stainless appliances, large sectional sofa in the living area, stackable washer/dryer. Close to restaurants, fishing, beach, and Port A night life. This split level is a second floor condo with no elevator access. The bedrooms are accessible by the internal spiral staircase and the exterior stairwell. No smoking, no pets. Parking for 2 vehicles. Boat slips for rent at an additional cost of $45.00 + tax per night. It is first come, first serve. Please request at the time of booking. Bay Tree requires a parking pass for your vehicle and wrist bands worn at the community facilities. These are issued upon check-in.

Condo was wonderfully stocked for making quick meals. The boys loved being able to fish off the dock and I loved that they could be outdoors while I made a quick meal. Wonderful area- we definitely plan to go here again!

This was our first time staying at this condo. I would say that it passed our expectations, with the exception of the swimming pool not being open. This didn’t matter at this visit,since the weather was a bit cool. It was a fisherman’s dream having a fishing pier a short walk from the condo and no sand to deal with. The condo was clean and well stocked. We also appreciated having the bedrooms upstairs and lots of floor fans in them.Don’t ignore the spiral staircase in the picture, if any movement issues. We were fine but my husband said a fireman’s pole would be nice. lol.We’ll be back!
Enjoyed seeing the tankers coming in the ship channel from our deck and fishing pier.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impression was how beautiful with the bright colors and the ocean view x2. (2 balconies was a big perk). Rooms were nice and we appreciate the fans that were in rooms. That's one of those things that we love to sleep with. Our family loves to fish. Another amazing advantage was the private fishing piers with an area to clean fish that were keepers. So cool to walk outside and throw in a pole. A warning is all three rooms are upstairs. Hauling everything up and down the stairs was a little work. No issue for us. We will definitely book again. If stairs are not an issue we highly recommend this condo.

Bay Tree Condo escape

The Bay Tree condo was perfect! It was clean, and well located just off the channel in old town Port Aransas. I loved sitting on the deck watching the ships coming and going. Port A Escapes was the perfect host I never saw. I was impressed by the smart phone check-in, and checkout process. I’ll use Port A Escapes for future Port A accommodations.

I agree with other reviews on great location, good communications, clean, family friendly, and well stocked kitchen. Nice touches were lots of hooks, great for towels and bathing suits. And provided clothes racks in rooms, but bring your own coat hangers. Washing machine and dryer were convenient and efficient. Two things you need to know when booking….1, all bedrooms are upstairs. Stairs are narrow and steep. Could be hard for very old, very young, or very large. And 2, the bunk room is only big enough for beds. No room for luggage. enjoyed our stay

Cute Property!

The condo was very cute and clean. Had all of the basic necessities! Beds were comfortable! It was a little warm upstairs but there were fans in each room! My only 2 issues are/were: 1. The front door locking and unclocking was a little tricky! 2. The pool was closed while we were there, i wish we had known beforehand. We tried to open the gate but it was locked, had to call property manager and that's when i was told the pool was closed. No sign posted or anything. I wish they would have let us know. Overall, it was a great stay. And i would recommend!

There was plenty of room in the condo and we were not tripping all over each other. We were able to have two home cooked meals as well. Can you do anything to cool the pool down though, lol? Coming from a cold water state there is no relief from the heat, not in the pool, nor the gulf. But it was still very enjoyable. It was clean and the AC worked amazing!!! Thank you again Bay Tree for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

Tips: 1. Spiral staircase is steep and narrow, but if you prefer, you can enter the upstairs bedrooms from outside. 2. Kitchen is equipped, but bring your own staples (sugar, salt, pepper, seasonings, etc.). Again, you will not regret the rental. We watched dolphins every single day, I saw a sea turtle, and some folks caught a fish or two... and a crab from their fishing pier. I believe this unit is NOT pet friendly, but I saw other folks on the property with pets. Truly so beautiful. I could have stayed at the condo the entire time and never even stopped foot on the actual beach.

Best in Port A if your kids fish

We loved it! The beds were comfy, the kitchen stocked, bathrooms OK, (a tiny bit dirty)TV's downstairs and in each bedroom and the swimming pool is nice. However, the absolute best part of the condo was the fantastic views of the channel from both the 1st and 2nd floor balconies and direct access to the boat docks and fishing docks right outside your door. It was awsome because the kids would wake in the morning and head straight out to fish while we got some extra sleep. The only concern I had was with the very narrow, steep, spiral staircase leading to the 2nd floor. We all took more than a few tumbles, (because of the design and the "extra" step at the bottom) but if you keep vigilant and be very careful you should be okay. My family has been going to Port Aransas every summer since I was a child (over 50 years!) and I really think this is the best place we've stayed yet. Book your trip. You will love it!

Excellent location - we saw dolphins from the deck!

The property was as advertised. Deborah, the property manager made our check-in seamless and easy during our visit. We saw her working tirelessly the whole time to make sure the pool and grounds were taken care of during our visit. The condo was perfect for a beach stay, it has a water view from which we saw dolphins surfacing every day and giant ships passing by. It was really neat. The complex was quiet and provided a nice respite after a long day in the beach sun. We'd stay here again.
