Summary:
Built for the slow start to a beach week — the good coffee's already in the cabinet, the Atlantic flat across the morning. 2ND Wind is recently renovated: two bedrooms, two baths, King plus two Queens, and an open-plan living/dining/kitchen pointed at the ocean from eleven floors up. Right for a family week, a girls' weekend, or a reunion with old friends. Our locally-built StayMareni Guest Guide covers where to eat, what to skip, and the corners of Myrtle Beach most visitors walk past.
The Space:
2ND Wind sits eleven floors up at Camelot, with the Atlantic running unbroken across the morning. The recently renovated layout is bright, modern, and easy — one large oceanfront room where the galley kitchen, the dining table, and the living room share the same view, all three framed by a single sliding-glass door onto the private balcony. A 40-inch Smart TV anchors the living room, and a queen sleeper sofa takes the count up when the second bedroom is full.
The King master sits behind a small oceanfront punch window — not a slider, but enough Atlantic to set the morning's tone. The second bedroom holds two Queens and a wall-mounted TV, with a side-facing window — built for the kids, the cousins, or the friends sharing the family-trip math. Both baths are full, the master with a granite vanity. The galley kitchen is fully equipped for a proper meal — full-size electric range with oven, microwave, dishwasher, dark granite counters, and a breakfast-bar peninsula with stools for the morning coffee. The good coffee's already in the cabinet — a Keurig and a stocked welcome basket. Stacked in-unit washer/dryer keeps a long stay easy. Hotel-quality linens and towels in every closet, professionally laundered. Ask about our Celebration setups — balloons, decor, and the small touches that make a birthday or anniversary land.
The walk is short in every direction. Starbucks, Ben & Jerry's, and Bummz Beach Cafe are about a minute on foot; the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and SkyWheel sit five down the sand; Broadway at the Beach is a few minutes inland by car for the night that wants a different scene. Free parking in the covered garage.
The pool deck runs the whole lineup — outdoor pool, indoor heated lazy river, two hot tubs (the outdoor one fits sixteen), and an indoor heated kiddie pool. The ground-level outdoor pool sits shaded under the building, which keeps it cooler through the hot months. The oceanfront pool deck above it has palm-lined seating with hammocks and a wooden bench swing on the grass strip overlooking the beach; the seasonal beachfront tiki bar runs in season. The newly updated fitness center is open year-round, and an in-resort laundry room covers the trips that run long.
Guest Access:
The full suite is yours — two bedrooms, two baths, a private oceanfront balcony off the open-plan living/dining/kitchen, in-unit washer/dryer, dishwasher, and Smart TVs in the living room and each bedroom. A queen sleeper sofa takes the count to six. Full access to Camelot's water features: outdoor pool, lazy river, two hot tubs, kiddie pool. Two parking passes for the covered garage.

Other Things to Note:
Welcome to 2ND Wind — eleven floors up, recently renovated, and built for the slow morning. The good coffee's already in the cabinet, and the Atlantic does the rest.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
Your door code arrives on check-in day and the suite is ready when you walk in — K-cups, popcorn, and cookies on the counter, hotel-quality toiletries (shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, body wash, and lotion), and the kind of hotel-grade linens and towels we'd want for ourselves. Four bath towels per bathroom; stays of four nights or longer get a free swap-out service. Pool towels are stocked in your suite April 1 through September 30, and available by request the rest of the year. High-speed WiFi runs throughout the building. Two parking passes for the free covered garage. Our locally-built StayMareni Guest Guide covers the dinner spots, day trips, and corners of Myrtle Beach the brochures don't bother with.
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
A few things we don't stock so you can plan ahead: cooking oils, butter, salt and pepper, and spices (bring what you'll actually use, or grab them at the grocery on the way in); beach chairs, umbrellas, or beach toys (chair rentals set up right on the sand); daily housekeeping (the suite is cleaned and ready before you arrive; mid-stay refreshes available on request for a small fee); personal toiletries beyond the welcome set (toothpaste, razors, sunscreen); and TV streaming logins (sign in with your own accounts).
PEST CONTROL
Routine, preventive pest control runs every other month per suite, on the 4th Wednesday. MPG handles all in-suite scheduling — standard building maintenance, set up in advance.
GOOD TO KNOW
Two things worth knowing up front. First, Camelot's HOA requires pool bands for pool-area access — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival (not in the suite), and turn them back in at checkout. Lost bands are $25 each. Second, the parking garage uses a stable keypad code (not the rotating monthly code) and clearance is 6 ft 7 in — important for SUVs with roof racks and most vans; oversized vehicles can use the overflow lot directly across the street.
Friendly reminder: smoke-free homes, the booking guest must be 21 or older, and Camelot now requires pool bands — pick yours up at the front desk on arrival, and turn them in on the way out (lost bands are $25 each).
