The house was roomy, clean, and comfortable for a group of guys staying for a weekend of golf at Black Diamond Ranch. We all highly recommend this property and would gladly stay again.

Our guests were a small group here to relax and play golf. We had good communication and answered each other's questions. They were all very respectful of the property and used the home gently. We are so happy they enjoyed their stay and hope they stay with us again.

Cute little get away

Very clean very comfortable house. Hot tub included was so awesome used it every night after a long day. Grounds are beautiful.

Golf outing at BD

Great communication with the host, even had a couple nice treats for us when we got to our home. Wouldn't have hurt to have aluminum foil, plastic wrap on hand. Would definitely stay there again!

Christmas at Black Diamond

The Black Diamond community is a quiet, gated golf community 1+ hour north of Tampa and 20 min from the Gulf coast. My parents live in this community and my husband, 2 adult kids with their spouses stayed here. We kayaked, snorkeled and scuba dived in the Rainbow River, swam with the manatees in the crystal river, had shrimp at the Freezer and took a couple day trips to Tampa. I also read 3 books and used the hot tub which is lovely.

A Fine Stay Once We Dealt With Issues

Overall, the property was as advertised and is in optimal location if playing Black Diamond golf courses if your goal. It was our first time to Lecanto and we realized that overall dining options are limited. Within 20-40 minute drive you have several state parks and natural springs to visit.Three start rating is because we had several issues at the start of the trip including a broken refrigerator, hot tub being in dormant mode, a clogged bathroom drain and sliding doors not locking. After using app to raise concerns about these issues, the property owner was very responsive and worked with us to find solutions. The hot tub worked fine once in the proper mode, they had a mini fridge delivered the next day and the doors and drain were fixed. It was just unfortunate that we had to deal with those issues at the beginning of our stay. They did offer a reduction to the expected rate because of the inconvenience, which was appreciated.The inside of the property was clean but the floor of the screened lanai area could have been cleaner.

We were happy to deliver a mini-fridge even though the next morning our service tech found the regular refrigerator in perfect working order. You just had the door open very long during loading and it returned to cold. If you had checked it later, I'm sure you would have not had us deliver a mini. The hot tub always is set to sleep mode when not in use. Once you turned it on it was hot for the duration of your stay. We had the slow-to-drain tub cleared in your kids bathroom. And adjusted the door locks that had loosened. I feel three stars was rather unfair as you stated when we met how much you loved the home. Thank you for leaving the home so tidy.
