About this property

Cozy Convenient downtown Condo

Heart of historic Downtown where all the shops and restaurants are and an easy one mile walk to Live Oak Pavilion for concerts. This is a second floor unit in the circa 1899 Masonic Building once owned by the famous Dennis Hopper. This condo has everything you will need to enjoy and close to all that Wilmington has to offer.

This condo comes with one bedroom and couch. Very convenient to everything downtown. The living room has a nice leather sofa, upholstered chair, and a 50 inch Samsung Smart TV to watch your favorite shows and I provide Sling TV to catch many cable shows. There is also Netflix to enjoy. Wifi is available throughout the unit.
The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, range, and microwave. The cabinets are stocked with dinnerware, pots, pans, and baking dishes. There is a drip coffee maker for those coffee lovers.

The Bedroom has a king size Energie Innerspring Pillow-top Mattress, the perfect mix of comfort and support.

The bathroom has a beautiful tiled shower and towels, shampoo and soap are provided.

Stay for a night or a week, the goal is to make you feel right at home.

There is parking in the parking garage across the street for a fee of $10/day. Let me know if you want to use the parking pass and I can leave it out for you and bill you separately. If not, you will have to find parking in one of the garages near by. You can also park in the metered parking which is free after 6:30pm and before 9am. If you park between 9-6:30, please make sure you pay for it because they will issue parking violations.

Access is through the front door and up the elevator or stairs to the second floor where there is an access door for residents and guests only. From there, make a right and head down the hall and then a left to arrive at 2D2 which will be on your right.
This property is non smoking throughout the entire building. By booking, you agree to pay a $150 fine should you or any of your travel guests be caught smoking.

Since this unit is right downtown you will hear noise from the street below at times, mostly on weekend nights. I have provided a sound machine for any light sleepers.

There is one King bed and a queen memory foam sleeper sofa. Please mention if you will need sheets for the sleeper sofa so the cleaning people know to leave them out.

Perfect Wilmington location
Great stay with my dog. Building is very secure, which was nice as single woman traveling alone with a small dog. Perfect location near restaurants, sites, and the Cape Fear River. Condo was clean and adequately equipped. Everything worked. Bed is comfy. Definitely will stay again when we come back.

Disappointing
Not a great experience. Very good location in heart of downtown. The advertised all-in price was not inclusive of the required damage insurance premium (unless you want to make a substantial deposit). Based on description and other reviews I proceeded. Check-in was problematic. Electronic lock did not work and never did. Fortunately owner had hid a key. Furnishings are very basic. Cleanliness is an issue - mold in shower, stains on towels. Communication with owner was tedious - much too long to get a response and he chose to communicate off the platform via an attempted call to me from a number I did not recognize and he did not leave a VM.

Good Weekend Getaway
It was good place for a last-minute weekend getaway. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment was clean. The check-in directions were a bit confusing -- the code provided specifically to you is the code for everything. Don't follow the code in the instructions. The amenities met the minimum requirements, but that is something easily remedied if you plan ahead. (We didn't. See "last-minute" trip above.) That is on us, not necessarily a reflection on the apartment. Just something for other guests to know and think about. Overall it was a good stay, and Andrew was great at communicating with us via text as needed.

Absolutely perfect!
It was the perfect place to stay for the week, very comfortable. I had a really really great stay, owner was super helpful and really easy to get in touch with. Hopefully will stay again in the future!

Location, Location, location! It is in a busy downtown area but very convenient for walking or catching a ride share to other destinations. Its about a 20 minute drive to the the beaches.
